My measurements matched most to the XL on the size chart, but I bought a 3XL based on the other reviews that said sizing was small. I figured for the price, if the fabric was fine, tailoring down the baggy parts is easy. I do agree with recommendations to size up 1 or 2 sizes.The fabric is mostly a medium weight polyester. The bindings/trims are thicker. This costume feels like it will be sweaty to wear in the summer heat, but it should last a few wears. The white print on the back of the black shirt is nice. What most stood out to me as possibly problematic for larger sizes was the white shirt collar size. I measured the fabric from button hole to button and it’s only about 15 inches. Otherwise, the second thing would be that the socks are 1 size fits all with no stretch. They are not scaled to 3XL. If you wear bigger than an size 7 woman’s shoe, have big calves, or long legs these sock will not fit.In conclusion, lost 1 star for the collar size and useless socks. The costume I received does match what I expected from other reviews and to the price point though. Good buy if you’re looking for an affordable, casual costume.

PLUS SIZE GIRLS BEWARE!! I ordered a 3x and NOTHING would fit, even if I put on a waist trainer and cinched my whole entire body, it would not fit. And I did.Not only were the sleeves too short, they pinched my arms at the top. If it wasnt for this maybe it wouldn't have fit, I dont know. This cosplay was made very poorly as well, stitches coming out from wherever they could. The button up wouldn't button, and the piece where the neck connects didn't even make it halfway around my neck. I'm beyond baffled that this cosplay doesn't have more negative reviews, but let's be honest, any cosplay that caters to skinny people would have hundreds of positive notes. I'm returning this and never coming back.

The quality was not too bad. The only thing was the collar was way too small. So we're the socks. Everything else was great. Definitely recommend for a beginner cosplay.

I bought the Mitsuri cosplay for a local convention coming up in October as I wanted to see if it would fit for the event. Sadly I should have listened to the other plus size reviews as it is true, it is not plus size friendly at all :( The arms of both the under shirt and jacket are too small and tight and I couldn’t even fasten the top. The only thing from the cosplay that fit was the haori and honestly it was very cute. I’m giving a two because I think it’s still a nicely made cosplay, it’s just sadly not for plus size people like me (;'д｀)

If you have broad shoulders like I do size up! I usually wear an XL, but I bought a 3XL just incase and the shoulder area is still a tad snug, however an easy fix at an alteration place. Everything else is amazing though the material is superb/ strong and it’s comfy the only thing that didn’t fit me too well was the white under top which is easy to replace, the white belt was also a tad too small, so I just punched another notch in it so it would fit better. A GOOD DEFINITE BUY! I’m so in love with it! ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY!

The sizing said the bust would be 50.0inches, I get a smal manufacturing bug or something like 1-2inches smaller. However my chest is around 45inches and it was way to small for me. The waist situation was fine but the chest bust size is completely incorrect. Also the socks are a mess they are incorrectly sewn and i cannot keep them on my legs considering its a piece is fabric. The haori Mitsuri wears is sewn weirdly aswell, Theres barely a hole in the haori making it impossible to get my arms threw. Do better. Not to mention dealing with shipping was horrible, I didn’t get a single update and it showed up randomly one day even though it said there would be tracking. Everything is very wrinkled and the cosplay is horrible overall. 2/5 stars because the shirt is nice and would’ve worked if it had fit.

So super cute! It’s very comfy and fits nicely. I recommend sizing up a bit though. I wore it all day to a con and it was nice and not uncomfortable at all!

i was SO excited to get this cosplay. i absolutely love mitsuri, so i had high hopes that these pieces would fit. i measured myself, and based off of what the size chart said, i would be a 3X WITH room to spare. i bought the 3X and i couldn’t even get my arms through the sleeves! once i crammed myself into the sleeves, the shoulder length across the back was so short and small i couldn’t even rest my arms to relax. the haori fit well with extra room, and the skirt fit fine. HOWEVER, i asked my mom to try the shirt on (since she has a much smaller bust than me) and she could barely put it on! and she’s only a D cup, while i’m a G cup. i was so disappointed, especially since me and my friends were going as our favorite hashiras to a halloween party :( now i have to return this and find something completely different from my friends to wear. HUGE bummer
