The only reason I purchased this doorbell was because it lit up. After a short time the light burnt out and now it’s in total darkness again. Not recommended!!

I am not a handy person and was still able to replace a broken doorbell with this button. Simple to connect two wires, doorbell lights up and rings as it should. You will need to buy two anchors if you are planning on installing it on drywall.

Does what it's supposed to do. I've been without a doorbell for nearly 30 years because when we first moved in it was disconnected, and when I tried to connect it, it acted like a stuck button. Except it wasn't stuck and when I checked continuity it looked like it worked. Long story a little less long, it was, in fact, stuck. But only when mounted.Anyhoo, I got this one because I wanted to cover the entire area where the sun hadn't faded the siding and it's a little bigger. They (I got two) work as expected, and the light is visible at night, even with the porch lights on. (That's why the pic isn't a close-up.)My only gripe is that the included screws are absolute garbage. "Metal" the way store brand hot dogs are "meat." You know, basically what they swept off the floor and threw in the machine. Other than that it's nice. If you already have a good collection of screws or don't mind a trip to the hardware store, it's OK.

Not much to say. The item is as described, the finish looks like wrought iron, the doorbell button is illuminated. It functions as designed.
