got these to add to a camera strap i bought that was great aside from no quick-release clasps. They fit great and hold my zoom lens + camera body easily. Only minor downside is no little lever but that's just personal preference.

Works as expected. Please do not eat this, but do use for making carry straps. I am happy. Thanks!

The product was what I ordered and wanted, but over 3 weeks to get it was unreasonable.

I recently discovered camera straps made by the California-based company, Capturing Couture, and was immediately "captured." While their straps are beautiful and comfortable (if a bit pricey), I found that the only thing I don't like about them is the lack of a quick release connector. So, after no small amount of research on the web, I arrived at a solution: 1/2" swivel snap hooks in gun metal gray that attach to the strap on one end, and split rings on the camera's strap lugs on the other. With Nikon & Sony, this is easy, as they already have split rings attached to their lugs. Canon was a bit trickier getting the split ring attached, but a jeweler's screwdriver was sufficient to keep the ring open long enough to thread it onto the lug. My R5 is pictured. These swivel snap hooks not only look great but seem well-built enough to handle the weight of a professional mirrorless camera and heavy lens. They are going on all my cameras.
