The Bombite Oval Crappie Jig Heads are beautifully made. You can see the hand crafted dedication in each jig head. We have caught crappies,blue gill and a few bass with these jigs. They have continued to work well and have stayed intact. They are also strong. I feel that this is a great Jig head set and I do recommend it.

These are some nice looking, flashy jigs at a fair price.These are advertised as being for crappies, but I'll actually be using these in the 1/8th oz size for walleyes more than anything while fishing both shallow lakes and small rivers. They seem to work well just plain as they are, but sometimes I like to add a small twister tail to the jig as well just for a little added wiggle. A bottom bouncing retrieve works best for me, but I'm sure people will fish smaller profile versions of these under a float too.The only thing I don't like about these is the case, honestly. Why do they need to put a giant ugly sticker on the nice clear case so I can't just quickly look into the case to see what's there? Frustrating! But it doesn't take away from the actual jigs which are nice and work well.

I have been using these regularly in our deep local lake and the trout have been biting these non stop. 1/8th has been a good weight. Paint has held up, along with the feather and shiny plastic, and the hooks are sharp.

This is a review for Bombite Crappie Jigs Oval Crappie Jig Heads with Hand-Tied Feather Rainbow Skin,10/20Pcs Crappie Fishing Lures Kit for Bass Crappie Trout Walleye Panfish Sunfish 1/32oz 1/16oz 1/8ozMy review comes from the point of view as somebody who has only recently picked up fishing again (2 years or so), after not fishing since I was a kid/teen.These jigs come well packaged, with an assortment of well painted colors to choose from. I am not sure how effective the shiny plastic will be, but it looks nice. The tails of these are well made, and are secured via some kind of string. Sometimes when I buy lures, especially off of Amazon, I have to sharpen the hooks, but these came plenty sharp enough, and seem durable enough to not bend easy. Although, if a pike decides it wants to snack on this jig, we will see what happens.I look forward to using these jigs the next time we go out on the boat, and based on what I have seen so far I would recommend these jigs. If they don't work out as well as I hope, it's not that big of a deal, I've wasted more money on a crank or two than this entire set costs.I

Interesting little jigs. Weight is spot on at 1/8 oz or 3.75 grams for the 20 I ordered. Instead of 4 of each pattern, I would have preferred a mix of weights. I mainly ordered the 1/8 oz to battle the wind.Hook size is approximately a #4.The jig head is well painted as are the eyes.A feather and a bit a flash is tied one with red thread and the jig body is covered by fairly substantial tinted cellophane "wings" with a green sheen to them.They are well packed in a fly box of sorts. I could have done without the big paper label that comes off in small pieces. Being a minimalist angler, I will likely add 5 (1 of each pattern) to an existing fly box and replenish as needed.At 80 cents each, a good value and look to be a nice jig to try.I'll go with a 5 star for now and will edit after I see what the fish think about them.

This set of wonderously colorful jigs offers a fantastic presentation for a variety of panfish species. Bass species will also bite these in clearer waters. I enjoyed using these but was disappointed when I noticed the skirting had come loose. I think these are fine jigs but the fragile construction makes them a “one-and-done” use lure.
