I wanted something for sheer backgrounds, the flat brushes don’t spread paint very well. It’s a lot of work to cover a 16x20 evenly. The largest ones would only be good for really big canvas and large paint cans with large amounts of paint. At which point I would just buy a house painting brush instead. Some hair loss in first paintings. Might try Filbert version in smaller sizes. The handles really are excessive.

The description makes it appear that there are twelve brushes (12 pieces).One brush came for $100. Made in China.Where are the other 11 brushes?Sending it back.

I was thankful for this brush when doing a large pine tree and some ground foliage on a 9’x20’ mural. It’s quite soft though and it would nice to have more spring to the bristles. Even better, would be options for stiffer bristles in these big brush shapes.

this brush is great for doing your base color when wanting to cover a canvas or paper. Being a Filbert Brush it lets you get a lot of real estate covered in s short amount of time with smooth coverage
