About this item

  • The 3 buttons dive computer provides all the necessary information in regards to depth, dive times, possible need of decompression, ascent rate and all the surface intervals between dives.
  • Dive program: full processing of dive data, including decompression if applicable, for every dive performed with air or nitrox.
  • Full setting of FO2 parameters (oxygen percentage) and PO2 (oxygen partial pressure) with the option to set PO2 between 1.2 bar and 1.6 bar, and FO2 from 21% and 99%.
  • Log book (70 hr or 60 dives) complete with dive profile. Possible to download the data on the PC with the Cressi interface (not included). Deep stop can be turned on or off. Visual and auditory alarms. Built-in calendar and clock. Backlit display.
  • The Giotto computer is developed and manufactured in Italy by Cressi, a brand pioneer in scuba diving, snorkeling and swimming equipment since 1946.

The 3 buttons computer Giotto by Cressi will provide all the necessary information in regards to depth, dive times, possible need of decompression, ascent rate and all the surface intervals between dives. Nitrogen absorption and release is continuously processed by its sophisticated software, taking into account the quantity of inert gas contained in the different mixtures that can be used. This information is shown on the device’s display thanks to the PCD (Priority Compartment Digit Display) system that allows an easy and direct "dialogue" between the diver and the computer, ensuring a clear understanding of all the data needed at any given time and a perfect readability in any situation. The computer is provided with clock, chronograph and calendar and a versatile dive memory (logbook). The mathematical model of Giotto can make saturation and desaturation calculations of dives carried out both with air and with Nitrox in any moment of the dive. In this last case you can set all the parameters related to the mixture of our dive: from the maximum allowed PO2 value (between 1.2 bar and 1.6 bar), to the mixture’s oxygen percentage (FO2): between 21% and 99% of O2. Additionally, the device may be set by the user for either metric (m-ºC) or feet system (ft-ºF). Giotto dive computer can be connected to a personal computer.

This is my first dive computer, and I found it easy to understand and simple to use… though the push / hold button sequences took a little practice (definitely recommend playing around with it for a bit before using it on a dive). At first I didn’t hear it beeping underwater, but once I recognized what it sounded like, it was loud enough to catch my attention. My only complaint, as a smaller woman, is the size — it felt a little large on my wrist, and I think I’ll need to trim some length off the wrist strap so that I don’t feel like it’s getting in the way. No issues reading it underwater. If you dive a lot you probably want to invest in a computer with more features, but this is a practical, (comparatively) affordable entry-level device for casual / occasional divers.

Great dive watch/computer. Easy to use right out of the box plus you can change the battery out yourself when needed and it is an easy to find battery. It has altitude adjustment and enriched air settings.

It took about 10 days before I got an estimated delivery date. Ships from Amazon UK, so it came quite a distance and it showed. The packaging was in poor shape and the computer's plastic screen shield had a crack in it despite being in a seemingly sturdy protective case. Computer is functional, easy to navigate. Great for EANx dives. A solid budget dive computer for the occasional diver (a couple of trips/10 dives a year) Would rate 5 stars if it hadn't been damaged when it arrived.

As my very first computer I have no regrets. I am very satisfied with it and has all what I expect for a dive computer for recreational diving. Took a little time to learn it but once that was done I was a pro at it. There no problem viewing the display on a deep dive at 32m and the ascent rate monitor is very audible.

For a beginning dive computer I really love it. It is my first one and it is easy to operate and was not hard to learn at all. It is very visible underwater, accurate and does both air and Nitrox. I had no trouble switching my dive from Air on one day and Nitrox the next. I like the logging too and the history run down is very nice. Right there on the face with a click of the button. There is also a dive planner mode which is very handy. Set either air or nitrox and the planner shows you no decomp times for various depths. The only thing keeping me from rating 5 stars is raised the cover over the face. While it is a must to protect the face and has come in handy a couple times, it holds water droplets and since it cannot be removed getting them out is a pain. This in no way affects the computer itself but for me it is an annoyance. I highly recommend this dive computer for 1st time buyers and am now looking at Cressi dive computer consoles next to go with my writs one. Redundancy... keeps a diver alive.

Insomma tutto molto bene e subacqueo contento!

Very nice dive computer! I used it recently during 8 dives in Cozumel and it performed w/o a hitch. I need to spend a little more time studying all the functions but the face is easily readable (I normally wear readers) through my non-prescription lens. The safety-stop calculator is very nice.
