About this item

  • Short wetsuit for ladies made in quality Neoprene material that keeps warm, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, diving, and other water activities. Made in double-lined Neoprene thick 2 mm for durability and warmth. Excellent Core-Warming capability.
  • Quality YKK zipper for durability. The front zip entry makes the donning and doffing of the suit easy. Due to the anatomic cuts, it is always a comfortable fit.
  • The wetsuit should fit adherent, like a second skin, to allow a small amount of water to keep you warm in the water.
  • Refer to the size chart to get approximately the most suitable size for you. If the purchased size does not dress properly, it is possible to change it. The wetsuit becomes softer when wet.
  • The Lido Short Lady is designed in Italy by Cressi and made in Asia. Cressi has been a brand pioneer in scuba diving, snorkeling, and swimming equipment since 1946.
  • Small (Chest: 32"-34", Waist: 24"-26", Height: 5'5"-5'7")

The easy-entry front zipper placement makes the Lido Short effortless to put on and take off. It is perfect for snorkeling, diving in tropical waters, swimming, surfing, and other activities. Highly flexible 2 mm Neoprene and a flattering cut conforms easily to most body shapes for a great fit. The front zip allows easy donning and doffing. YKK zipper closure. It protects the body from UV rays, scratches, and jellyfish.

It’s a very nice product, my first wetsuit. I had to return it twice ( no issues) because I bought it too small. Read everything you can about sizing, including generally about how to buy a wetsuit that will work for you. I’m 5’4” and 145 pounds; needed an XL which may indeed sag when wet but at least I won’t again get stuck in it ( not kidding. I could get my arms in but then had to get help extricating myself. Very humbling!)

This runs very small. Tight in bust, arms and legs. It is supposed to fit snug. This is way to "snug". Unfortunately, there is no next bigger size. I will need to return it

First thing: half of why I ordered this particular wetsuit was because I hate having things pressing on the front of my neck. I expected that the front-zipper design would be much more pleasant for me. I am very pleased with the comfort of the neckline, as I had hoped! No pressing on my neck, no making me feel strangled.Second: I'm 5'3", 150, and curvy, so finding a wetsuit that will fit is challenging, to say the least. They all seem to size up in all dimensions at the same time, so getting one wide enough means getting one that expects me to be many inches taller than I am. I ordered an XL and an XXL, since all my dimensions (except height) were within the listed dimensions of both and I wasn't sure how tight the XL would be. It turns out I prefer the XL. I had hoped I could pull up the crotch and just have it bunch elsewhere but NOPE. The height is the height and the stiffness of the material means I just have 3 or so extra inches of empty wetsuit crotch below my actual crotch. Not ideal, a little annoying, but the rest of the suit looks really good and fits like a glove, so I'm going with it. :)(As a side note, I didn't know what to expect in the bust support department, but the reality was better than expected. The suit fits me about right and on the snug side--again, I did measure before ordering and got one that was supposed to fit snugly--but also, because the cut is fitted, my chest naturally ends up in the general area of the suit where it's supposed to be, regardless of whether I am wearing some support under the wetsuit or not.)Edit to add: I read somewhere that the suits are looser when wet, and that turned out to be the case. Not HUGELY lose, but enough to make me wonder if a Large would have been a better idea. Still, the XL is hard enough to get on, I'm not sure how I could have squeezed into an XL when dry.

Getting ready for dive trip and wanted to buy instead of renting, good fit overall, would be nice if Cressi added a pull for the zipper as when it is wet usually helpful to have a lanyard like pull as wetsuits are stuck to you when wet , but will add one myself using a sports lanyard that is nylon. If you are someone who evaluates cost of equipment rental as I do, this is a really good purchase for the price (e.g. renting one for 4-5 weeks at usually $12-15 / per day this pays for itself in 5 days, just for one trip).

I got the black and purple in a size 7. Fits pretty true to size according to the chart. I am a full figured short old person. 5’4 in, 125 pounds. I had tried a full wetsuit in another brand and it was too constricting. Love this one. The front zipper is a bonus and seems very strong and heavy duty. Warm, comfy with full range of motion and at a reasonable price.

I measured carefully and read lots of reviews before purchasing this shorty suit. It paid off as the fit is correct. It's easy to get on and off. My partner also purchased a Cressi shorty but had to try on a couple to get the correct fit. I think people complain about not being able to get out of them need to go up one size. The thickness is perfect for tropical snorkelling and summertime sports on the lake I live on in Canada. It's lightweight for packing in luggage. My measurements fell in a medium for height and weight but in a large for chest and waist and an XL for hips. I chose to go with a Large which fits well. It has some stretch. I would purchase again in a heartbeat.Update: I just returned home from my Caribbean snorkelling trip. The wetsuit was much more comfortable than just my swimsuit and took the chill off when in the water for more than an hour. I wore a long sleeve rash guard underneath so I didn't have to wear suntan lotion on my arms and long lycra leggings as well. One day I didn't wear the leggings and my lower legs got burnt pretty bad. If your suit is hard to slip over your shoulders I would suggest wearing a lycra shirt underneath as it will slip right over the shoulder when removing. It folds up really small so not much room is needed in the suitcase. Originally I was going to buy a cheap wetsuit from China but I'm so glad I purchased the Cressi Shorty. Made very well and should last for years to come. Never regret buying quality.

Update: I used this for the 10 days we were in the Grenadines snorkeling. It was perfect. The fit ended up being just right for me and the quality was great, especially for the price.I haven't gotten to use this yet - so this is only about my initial reactions. The neoprene is a nice quality, the stitching looks well done.I'm a size 4, 5'3" and 115lb: The small fit just right everywhere, and is comfortable, except the torso seems a bit short (which is strange because I'm not tall). I'm a bit concerned about it, ummmm, riding up while I'm swimming, if you know what I mean. I am right in the center of the 'small' size on their sizing chart, so I assume the torso issue is a user error :)Anyone with a larger bust may be uncomfortable - it fits me just right and I'm a 34B.I've never worn a wet suit before, so I could be getting it on a bit wrong - or it may just need to be wet. My husband thinks it looks like it fits perfectly. I think if I went up a size it would be too loose for the purpose so I'm going to try it out in May and hope all is well.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I was about to quit swimming because the pool was too cold to tolerate. But this suit is perfect. Let there be no mistake, it doesn't keep you dry any more than the swim cap does, but it does let the water seep in gradually and keeps a warm layer of water next to you so that you don't feel the cold. It made the difference for me between swimming or going back to the treadmill where I ended up with stress fractures. I wear a size 2-4 typically and the small was perfect. It is a bit of a challenge to get off when you first step out of the pool but if you wait a few minutes it is easier. I did have to learn to adjust my strokes a bit as the suit makes me more buoyant, but it was a quick adjustment and my times are back to what they were without the suit.

I purchased two other suites from AMAZON, one I had to return due to it being too small. The second is a fit perfect for my daughter who is with a summer program and his feeling like a stylish kid! Hooray! In regards to the listed above wet suite that never showed up, it isn't technically purchased at AMAZON.com they removed it from my AMAZON.com card. So, in honesty it isn't Amazon.com And I wish to clear up my lie, I didn't report anything to the better business bureau, I just hate scams and I was notified by phone how sorry they are from AMAZON! I will continue to due business with you but once my money or scuba suit is returned I will never purchase through CRESSI LIDO whatever! PS I've purchased 3 items, returned 1, kept one and mia 1, (this is in my lifetime) HAVE A GREAT DAY!
