This works as represented. However, better instructions would help. Specifically, the temperature disc pigtail does not come pre-wired into the main unit, and the instructions do not tell you which wires to unplug and plug into. AND..., the instructions tell you to route the temp disc pigtail through an existing hole that already has wires running through it, which would be fine, except that with the temp disc pigtail already having terminals crimped on, there isn't room to put them thru the hole. After addressing those issues, it works fine. I may change the temp disc to a lower temperature (it's a 50°C now, might try a 35°C), so that the fan runs sooner and longer.

This blower is not very quiet. It fluctuates with humming and groaning noises that are very annoying and should not be there. Our old blower was better than this new model! Very disappointed. Hopefully it was just a lemon and they all aren't like this.

Once it registers that the stove is hot enough the fan will cycle on for eight seconds and then off for 16 seconds. There is no way to set it to stay on. Yes, you can set the fan speed when it cycles on but not the duration at which the fan stays on. For the price I would not recommend this fan.

This blower is designed to be installed on the back of a free standing wood stove. Mine is a lopi endeavor. It works great.

The temperature control is not working . Without temperature control item works as expected. I would like for the seller to replace the temperature control.

Replacement Installed easy however, there was only one wire and not the 2 connectors needed for the included Therm-O-Disc like the blower fan it replaced. Saved $$$ over OEM however, this does not work as an automatic fan. Manual on and off operation. Should cost much less than $299! Considering returning if could be guaranteed that the replacement unit is wired correctly?
