Was nervous after reading assembly problems before purchasing However arrived without damage,no. Alignment problems,had my own tools which were more quality so assembly easier. As with all assembly required can be frustrating for inexperienced. Rate quality high

I bought two gliders for my porch and they look adorable. I hired someone to assemble them, so I can’t comment personally on how difficult it was, but he did it by himself in about 45 min per glider. My two complaints would be a couple of nicks in the paint (They sent a paint pen but they’re still somewhat noticeable), and the gliding function is very short, if that makes sense. Otherwise, they’re sturdy, sized right for two people, and really cute on my porch.

Well made glider. Directions are missing a few diagrams. I'm very experienced at assembling this type of thing (engineer/builder). A few parts stumped me. Don't rely on pre-installed parts being on correctly. Nylon washers were installed wrong and the stabilizing rods had the nuts screwed on too far. Not obvious since they were painted after assembly. My overall impression is excellent. It's metal so there are a few minor imperfections, no touch up needed although touch-up paint is included. The eye bolt attachment of the upper back was not obvious in the directions either. Once assembled, I love it!

I love everything about this glider, especially the color (red). It would have been a challenge for me to put it together as I am not mechanically talented. Its definitely a two person job. My husband and his friend had it together in about 2 hours. It glides quietly and evenly. It looks great on my porch with a pair of red metal chairs.

I like the sturdiness of the glider and it definitely has the retro vibe. Just what I wanted. BUT. It's difficult to assemble, make sure you have 2 people. Instructions are 2 dimensional and attaching armrests to bench/back combo is difficult - I had to use a clamp and board to get holes to line up. But it is sturdy once assembled. Biggest issue for me is it was damaged in several places, presumably during shipping. Big dent on seat is most prominent. Chipping in a few places across the top backrest are also prominent as was a bit of denting on armrest (not pictured). Once you unpack this heavy monster and get all the many, many parts laid out for assembly, the thought of repacking and sending back didn't seem worth the frustration. So if you don't mind paying a decent price (by comparison) for what is essentially a scratch and dent product, this could work for you. UPDATE: After contacting the seller, they were very responsive in providing me with several options to resolve, one of which I accepted. I appreciated the quick response and fair resolution from them.

The glider is beautiful, however, it arrived with a dent in the seat as well as a dent in the left arm (part F). I called the manufacturer (as required in the packing instructions) and they sent replacement parts. The seat they sent was fine but they sent the right arm (part G). They again sent a replacement part and again they sent part G, a right arm. In both instances the boxes said Part F, but they were parts G. It seems that whoever is packaging the replacements do not realize that the left and right arms are determined by standing back and looking at the glider, not sitting on it (they can reference their own instruction book). Neither of the arm replacements were labeled. The original parts were labeled F and G. Needless to say, I have spent a lot of time on the phone waiting in a queue. I would never buy this product again nor any product by the manufacture. BTW, they also sent the incorrect replacement seat. They sent 1st generation seat but I needed a 2nd gen. They wanted to send replacement parts again! I said no, needed $ comp as their ability to send parts has been shown to be unreliable. Also, I needed to move on and put the glider back again using the dented parts. I will not take a part again, too labor intensive.

The box arrived sooner than expected. Nothing damaged. All parts were in the box, with a few extras. It took my son and husband just over an hour to assemble. I was looking for a vintage glider like what I remember from 60 + years ago. Online refurbished gliders were listed at $1500. This glider reminds me of my childhood glider at a more reasonable price. It is sturdy and comfortable, maybe not as sturdy as ones many years ago, but it works for me! I'm very pleased with my purchase.
