I had one of these about 20 years ago...a bit different cosmetically, colorwise but otherwise just a 20 year older model. Well, I found online a guy who sells a "bug blaster" attachment which fits into the barrel of your .177 caliber or 22 caliber pellet gun. What it is, is a barrel extender which when preloaded with you everyday table salt, becomes a pellet gun shotgun bug eliminator. Yep...you heard me right...the table salt is lethal to insect varmints due to the velocity of the salt for just a few feet out of the barrel then the salt loses velocity and, "No harm, no foul"! Wanna whack mosquitoes, flys, bigger bugs like the dreaded Palmetto bug, water bug, etc., look no further. So...I got a bug problem (See my other review of the "warrior Bug Zapper"), I need solutions, and, I need 'em now! I order the pellet gun "bug blaster" gizmo...pull out the old 357 pellet gun...load up a new CO2 cartridge, affix the easilly mounted "bug blaster", put in the salt, put up a target, laser on (yeah...I added a laser to jazz it all up..crazy right?) Stand a few feet away from the paper bullseye, laser on...squeeze off a round...nice...blows a 2" hole through the paper at like 3 feet. Not impressed you say! Remember, the idea is close in combat...no sheet rock destruction, no wall paint injured, no broken windows or shot up blinds...just the concussion of the air blast along with the salt pattern....confirmed kill. Wow! Just what I was looking for...took a couple more shots and "Poof" cold air escaping from the gun handle...20 year old seals have given up under the pressure...rubber seals eroded over 20 years...I should have taken that into consideration...gun sitting in a super-heated florida garage for 10 years and another 10 in a previous residence and yeah....bye, bye seals! So now I am bummed....great bug whacker with no deliver mechanism, a.k.a. functioning pellet gun!Off I go to Amazon, spot this awesome, stealth looking 357 from Crossman, recognize the functionality and specs are the same as my old gun, which I know works well with the bug blaster adapter until the gun failed..."I'm in"!I order the new 357 along with a big box of like 40 CO2 cartridges which I get in a couple of days thanks to my Prime membership...while the gun arrives in it's unassuming bubble plastic see thru packaging, she is a fine piece in deed!Nice fit and finish, much more awesome looking then the previous version I had which had a silver barrel and body this one is all stealth black. Remember, I am not going to use if for a pellet gun, though with the 10 shot clip and with the experience I had when my other one was in it's prime, it is indeed a very effective and powerful pellet gun for when and if I ever need to employ those services. I also bought the recommended tube of lubricant which should add quite a few years to the seals when applied as directed. So yeah, great pellet gun, and the perfect partner to the "bug blaster" pellet gun attachment if bug blast'n is something you just gotta do. Gun fires either single action or double action, as fast as you can either pull back the hammer or pull back on the trigger. Powerful and accurate, with a solid build and nice action at a price I doubt you will beat for what you are getting in a pellet gun. This is not a toy so observe good safe gun handling practices and keep out of the reach of children.

I bought this fun just two nights ago and damn it came fast! I haven't been able to shoot it yet but wow, I already know this is well built, and props to Crosman, you guys have really done it with this gun! Of course its not all metal but the plastic is a good grade, I love the how the CO2 compartment is full metal, thank God. The CO2 compartment is where the most problems occur in airguns but not this one! The 357 Revolver is such a nice piece, it looks and almost feels like a real firearm! The function and simplicity with the combination of beauty and not to mention the great durable material + the decent price!!!! The best bang for your buck! Probably even more so! 5 out of 5!!Ps. The title says its the "3576" but I got the "357" is there a difference? If there is I can't tell! (Thumbs up)Update! 6/9/13This replica of the colt python is still rocking my socks! There hasn't been a problem at all. Updating because I've shot and played with this gun for a hole now and it is Good. Really accurate with its rifled barrel, as well as getting close to the 70 shot mark per CO2 cartridge. Again a great, perfected over there years gun, good job Crosman!

I used it a few times so far and other than a little difficulty reapplying the grips after replacing the CO2, the gun works very well. I don't really see the point in buying additional "clips" unless you are going to be shooting it with others or hunting small critters. It looks fairly real and someone said it was very loud but it is really no louder than any other CO2 gun. I was shooting a can and the accuracy seems very good at least at close ranges. My inaccuracy at longer ranges was probably just me. It shoots well and the only problem I have had is that if you fail to pull the trigger all the way and you release it the chamber is skipped and the pellet is missed. It really is no problem other than when you miss 2 or 3 and you realize that you only took 7 or 8 shots out of the ten. It is still really good and is a fine way to speed through pellets. For the price, you'd be mad to expect much better than this. If you are interested, you should probably buy it. Be sure to buy some CO2 and crosman pellets with it.*edit* I've had it for a while now. It seems to have gotten somewhat louder than last time but still reasonable I guess. I attached a red dot sight to it, haven't quite gotten a chance to test it, I'm thinking about getting batteries for it. However, the gun still works great and still looks good. At first I was completely happy with the grips but, with the sight, they seem somewhat loose and it seems to rattle ever so slightly if you tilt it to the side. It might throw your aim off by a quarter inch at a target 50 feet away, but it doesn't seem like a major problem. I used it enough to fly through a box of 25 CO2 containers but still not that much. I am still pleased with it, I'm happy enough about the ability to add the sight that I'm entirely overlooking the slight wobble caused by the grips. It's a good gun for shorter range target practice. Someone was bragging about being able to shoot accurately across 3 football fields or something but it's not really that accurate. I can own a can across the yard pretty well though. I'd recommend it mainly because of the price but also the pimpness of the gun. Yeah, that's a word now.
