I have a fountain pen made by cross that I purchased about 5 years ago so I have an old bottle that is getting low. This ink last a long time and is great for writing.

If you're crazy enough to still use a fountain pen, then you realize how limited you are with refilling your device. For genuine Cross on Amazon, the choice was a card of 6 refills for around $12-13 or to purchase the liquid and fill your own. The bottle was around $16, which is a whole lot better than the cartridges, but in my mind, still very expensive. This just fits in line with everything else being sold today at unreasonable prices, for absolutely no justified reason.The ink should last a very long time and the bottle is nice enough to keep on a desk (just don't drop it)

Not as easy to transport if going to classes, but you get much more ink for your money than by buying cartridges.

Davvero, non credevo. Rispetto a marche più blasonate riguardo gli inchiostri per stilografica, Non avevo grandi aspettative per questo inchiostro che però avevo già testato in formato cartuccia. Invece si tratta di un gran bel nero, brillante e intenso. Lo consiglio proprio.

Le noir est profond et d'une brillance parfaite. Ni brillant, ni terne. Mon stylo plume marche très bien avec. Etant un encre de calligraphie, il est indélébile. Sèche plutôt rapidement, il faut du papier > 90g pour qu'on ne voit pas au travers. Je recommande et le rachèterai sans problème. Il y a beaucoup de commentaires sur le fait que le flacon s'est cassé et/ou est difficile à ouvrir. Personnellement avec un torchon et en faisant attention je n'ai eu aucun problème. Cependant en le refermant je ne serre pas trop pour éviter de galérer à la réouvrir.

I bought a Cross Century II fountain pen recently, and it came with two cartridges. I used those first, and just like other review indicate, those cartridges leak (not horribly, but definitely often). I just switched to my converter cartridge (which was really easy to use) and this ink, and it writes so smooth! I am not leaking ink and I don't have the problem of overflow like I did with the pre-filled cartridges. Great ink for the price. It does not clean up easily, though. Be careful of spilling this stuff.

This ink is just the job, OK it can be a bit messy but that's only if you are not taking care, its of very good quality and last for ages.

The ink quality is very good, just as good as the ink in the cartridges. I like that it meets the ISO standard for archival ink. It writes clearly and smoothly with no feathering on my notebook. The bottle is elegant but practical. It was completely full of ink and it closes securely.

No issues with this ink what so ever, used it in a Pilot Metropolitan, Nemosine Singularity, and a Jinhao 599 with no flow issues or anything. Would reccommend as a cheap starter ink.
