The cloning process took some work, but it is not the fault of this SSD. I suspect that Balena Etcher is not quite there yet with cloning, but I got it to work after doing some error correction. I haven't had any issues since getting this in November, and it works perfectly. I don't know if it's any faster, but there were certainly no drawbacks in using this product. I'm happy.

Installed this in my Rog ally Z1e and I’m blown away at the speed of this little drive. Great performance and was really easy to install and I have way more memory than stock now since I have one of the allys with the micro sd slots that doesn’t function unfortunately. Definitely recommend this thing!

Avere 2TB poi comporta una grande disponibilità di giochi senza dover ricorrere alle microSD, molto più lente.Decisamente consigliato, sopratutto se in sconto

Got the bottom of the line 64gb Steam Deck and upgraded it to 1gb using this. Install was pretty easy, way faster read/write speeds than the 64 emmc was, holds a lot of games. Valve has instructions on how to reinstall Steam OS after swapping out the ssd.

It was an easy to install, and the numbers for read/write speed were just as amazing. I also used the Ally’s cloud recovery for ease of transition, so I’d recommend you do a fresh backup of your system just prior to installing this. The quality is solid, and it fit perfectly into the slot. The Ally also seems to run even faster and run the games better than before. I highly recommend if you’re a gamer!

I installed this easy enough via a separate usb type-C enclosure to enable cloning of the original 250bg SSD.Then replacd the original SSD with this 2TB cloned SSD. Loads of space on it. I have kept the original SSD in the SSD enclosure as a backup drive just in case of failure or more storage.It does get quite warm but only when reading and writing very large files.

Using this in a DockCase Mini with a 10Gbps connection speed, I was able to write around 40GB of various files to the drive in under a minute, at an average of around 750MB/s, as a "real world conditions" test of various files ranging from large 4GB+ Linux distro ISOs to game folders filled with hundreds of tiny files of a few KB each.Naturally, it would be even faster in a direct NVMe PCIe slot - but nobody is buying a 2230 drive to fit directly to a motherboard. Using it in an external enclosure is a realistic test of how it's likely to be used, and it's passed with flying colours in my book.

The crucial p310 gen 4 pcie nvme is a fast drive that has no dram. The device used is the Microsoft Surface laptop 7. The fast speed of the surface laptop seven's memory at 8448MT/s probably is what makes this drive fast due to its lack of DRAM cache and the fast nature of the ram, the drive has a fast cache. Low power usage, affordable and can get up to 1.8GB/s when transferring files in Windows explorer with multi gigabit files. Good Drive at an affordable price.
