I had good faith when it comes to Amazon purchases. With all the good reviews especially. When I pull the cartridges off the box. Immediately felt “cheap”. It was soft not sturdy. But I’m no pool expert. So I put em in and run the pool over night and shock 2 bags. Next day was bright and clean as the sky! And then the nightmare begins. Over the course of past 3 weeks. I have to shock every 2 days. Dumping insane amounts of chemicals=money. Running back and forth to the local shop and get my water tested. I was unable to diagnose what caused my pool kept going yellow/green. And the very last time they asked if my filter have been cleaned or changed recently. And that’s when I know that these filters were trash. I pick up a brand new set locally and pay more. BUT, at least my pool is now shine bright like a diamond and I don’t have to keep dumping money every 2 days.

If not better than the OEM these filters meet all the quality and performance you expect but at a much lower price than the popular brands. I would keep using them this summer and monitor their effectiveness over time. I expect them to last Atleast two years before clogging due to any heavy load of high siltation and wash back requirements. Finally I recommend these filters with confidence

These are very comparable to the filter my pool shop was trying to sell for like 500 bucks. Been using them for 2 months and they’ve worked great.

My pool guy was not cleaning my filters properly or as often as he should have. Bought these, threw out the old filters. After a week, pulled these filters out to clean them and check them. They are holding up and look just as good as the Hayward brand ones I replaced. Sprayed them clean and put back in. For perfectly, great value for the money. Will buy again.

This filter are the perfect size for our pool filter. I think the ones we replaced were only 2yrs old, but they seemed pretty beat up and we could not be more happy with this purchase, the value along was amazing. For thr cost we would have only gotten 2 filters from out local pool shop. I'd highly recommend these filters if they are the right size for your pool, they have our pool looking crystal clear!

These filters do not work. Period. They DO NOT catch anything but bugs. Filters are supposed to scrub the water, leaving it sparkling clean. With these, you can watch the fine particulate circulating back into the pool as you are vacuuming it. Don't waste your time or your money on these. They are junk.

Everything I've read indicates that these filters should be changed every couple of years. These were the most cost-effective I found that had good ratings. I just installed them and they seem to be a perfect fit and seem to work properly. Because we are a couple weeks into the season, the water is crystal clear so it will probably be some time before I need to clean them for the first time. So I have little hard data to report. But my over-riding sentiment is, if I need to replace filters every two years or so, I'd rather spend $160 than $350!!! I'm hoping they will give me two solid years of good service. If they let me down, I'll update this rating. The picture shows the new filters next to the original Hayward filters.
