I use this for making the holes for my garlic cloves. I've used it for 2 seasons and it still looks like it did the day I unboxed it. It is very solid and a comfortable weight...not too heavy if you have bad wrists. There has been no rusting or wear.

I used one of these when I volunteered at a community garden. The manager said he bought these years ago and they have not shown any wear. I bought one for myself and I love it! It is great for making holes for small transplants and bulbs. It is made of rust free materials and will outlive me!

I wish it had a rubber/non-slip handle not just for stability, but since it is metal, it absorbs heat from my hand. I have rather severe Renaud's and without gloves...I prefer not wearing them when feasible...it can be very difficult to hold on to the tool. Also, a hole for a thong would be nice. Still, a great, strong tool.

This tool will probably last forever. Its a single piece of metal. There is no sharp point to come off and no handle to break or come loose. It has good heft which helps to make a nice hole in ground for dropping ina seed or bulb. It does seem the taper is rather narrow for most of the flower bulbs with which I am familiar.Nevertheless, winding the tool around in the initial hole to widen it is not difficult to accomplish. There is good value for money in this purchase.

Not only does this work very well, with it's added weight, but it's plain to see, and feel, that because it's made in one piece, and of heavy metal, this dibber will last and last. I have heavy clay in some beds, and don't think a plastic dibber would be able to cut it, but this works very well.

One thing about digging a hole to transplant a seedling is I have to do it with one hand while the other holds the plant tenderly in my palm. This means dirt keeps falling back into the hole I dug and it is just an unnecessary aggravation. Enter the dibble... it is the perfect size, makes a perfect hole with one try and you can make the hole wider by circling the hole, one hand, one tool. I've gardened for years but never knew this existed until now. I love it. Well made, sturdy but not too heavy. Nobody borrows my dibble! Mine all mine.

Love this one piece dibble. It has a nice weight to it, is comfortable to hold and there are no part that can break. Don't know how I did all my gardening without it. Very happy with my purchase
