This set of jewelry pliers is very well made. They are so much better than the ones that come in kits or you pick up in the cheap sections at the store. They have held up well and proved to be very useful.

These are a great set of wire jewelry tools to pick up after the beginning set. They tend not to be included in the basic sets but are very helpful. I received a set with imperfections in the nylon jaw pliers and there were some minor alignment gaps that are in line with the price point. These will give you more options for what you can do but are also not going to be the quality of professional tools. That being said they are sturdier than most beginner tools.

I started making jewelry in the last month or so and I don't have a lot of tools yet. I saw this set and I had to order it. The pliers are easy to use and feel good in my hands. They don't require a lot of force to use. I really like the bail making pliers. They have graduated sizes so you can make various sizes. I really really like the concave/round nose pliers, they are great to make smooth bends and loops. I use the nylon pliers to straighten wire or to move pieces of wire around because they have a nylon cover, they don't live marks on the wire. I'm very happy with this set and I recommend it for other beginners.

The bail making pliers weigh 166g. The tools on one side are 10, 7.8, and 3.9 mm cylinders. On the other side they are 8.9, 6.3, and 3.0 mm cylinders. They meet at the very tip, but have a hairline gap over most of the tool area. The nylon jaw pliers weigh 115g. They have about the same size handles as the bail pliers. The jaws can be forced together completely, but they aren't parallel jaws so that won't really happen except for paper thin objects. The nylon jaws seem well fixed in place, but I can't see what is holding them. The concave & round pliers weigh 63g. They're much smaller than the other two. They have a rough cutter integrated into the jaws. The concave on mine isn't super clean, and doesn't quite line up with the round. The round jaw has a partly flat edge on the face the closer to the handles it goes. All three pliers are sprung. All of them have the same PVC coated handles. The handles on the larger pliers are substantial, and can probably take a lot of force. Pivots are tight on all three.

One of the side nylons fell off. But I have not had any problems with the other tools so far

These jewelry pliers work well. They feel like decent quality when you hold them. The set with plastic jaws works great for getting out bends and flattening wire without leaving scratches and marks.
