I was able to successfully remove the driver side axle inner joint cup from my 2016 VW Tiguan using this tool… however I did have to grind and modify it in order to fit the very tight clearance between inner joint cup and transmission as the trans casing has structural ridges around most of the joint area. I beveled the back / bottom edges and also thinned the top tapered edges in order to fit it behind the joint well enough to get a decent grab, then about 5 hits with a slide hammer removed it. If this situation sounds similar to yours, don’t waste time with pickle forks or other wedges; get this, modify it if needed and get it done. Trust me. You can rent a slide hammer from Auto Zone or other parts stores.

Work with pulling 2007 sienna and 2007 lexus es350 left front axle. Wide and thin enough to slip on axle, others either too narrow or too thick.

It will not work on a Toyota Camry 92-96. Item not wide enough to get behind the axle shaft next to the transmission housing.

Used this to pull a front axle on a 2021 RZR and it worked perfectly! I tried many different ways from watching you tube videos and nothing worked, this popped it off with 2 light hits on the slide hammer, perfect fit and quality product!
