My daughter needed a new pair of soakers as hers were wearing thin with a few holes here and there. These blue soakers are perfect for her figure skates which are a size 5.5 - they are soft and fluffy and so absorb the moisture well. They are thick with lots of material. We like the bottom section of the soakers which are not the same terry cloth material. I had thought that it was just a strip on the exterior at the bottom, but it is inside under the blade as well, which means that this should protect the blade if she walks on it, but we will continue to use blade guards and just store the skates with the soakers. I recommend these soakers!

I had plastic skate guards for my hockey skates but when I got new skates the skate guards no longer fit, they were too large and would keep falling off. So I wanted to get these elastic covers since they should work even if I change my skates.The skate guards are a very vibrant blue, the sides are soft and fluffy while the bottom is a more nylon texture. My skates are a size 5.5 and while the covers do wrap around the blades it does seem like it'd work much better for figure skates due to the longer blade.Overall I think the covers are good and will work for both figure skates and hockey skates.

These skate guards is a genius idea to keep the blade covered. Not only will it protect the blades but also other things from getting damaged because of it.

For the price, they are nicer than I expected! They actually include the reinforced strip on the bottoms too, so the times my kid has walked in them on the rubber mat, they've survived.
