A solid, compact and decently weighty box with a non-slip bottom surface. Great design and great execution. No moving parts (this is not a switch box, rather, it connects up to four outputs in parallel to one input), solid metal case, decent quality RCA jacks, enough spacing between inputs (for my cables anyway).A couple of potential things that may affect some users. First, while the unit is heavy enough, connecting five pairs of heavy, stiff cables to its rear apron will most likely tip it backward; users anticipating this connection may want to think about a separate cable rest to independently support their cables. And second, the unit is compact, so some heavy duty or audiophile cables may require more space between connectors than this unit provides. Neither of these concerns affected me, but I could see them being problematic in some applications.In my case, I'm very happy with the unit, zero complaints. I would buy another and I recommend it (bearing in mind my caveats).

I'm glad I was able find this device. It feels pretty heavy duty and seems to push out the signal nicely to all devices. Most AV's are switches, this is just forwarding your signal on. It doesn't need a power supply which AV boxes usually don't so you can stick it anywhere.The only thing that would make it better would be a mounting kit to mount it on the back of furniture or something. For now, 3M double sided tape will do.

It's easy to use. One RCA pair is input and the others are output. No external power source is needed. It's a small box, but build well.

I bought this to split the stereo rca’s coming from my car head unit because I didn’t want to remove it, which requires removing a bunch of dash pieces, risking damage. I split the signal to a self powered subwoofer.It works flawlessly with no sound degradation or interference, and it’s future proof if I want to add other amplifiers or self powered speakers at a later time.

Installed to send preamp ambience output to three amps for enhanced ambience in very large room. Worked like a charm! No problems at all, although I did not try the fouth set of outputs. Quite a bargain at the low price Amazon sold for when I bought it.
