Omdat mijn router van mijn internet provider te zwakke wifi had en ik Ubiqity te duur vond voor minder dan de helft van zo'n Ubiqity deze Cudy gekocht. Heeft veel configuratie mogelijkheden maar is ook behoorlijk plug en play wanneer je snel van start wil. Voor de IT expert maar ook voor de IT noob. Met handige app die je voor de configuratie via je smartphone kunt gebruiken.

Bought this to have a cheap access point dedicated to my doorbell camera. Installed very easily, PoE on an access point in this price range is a great feature! Installed above my front porch on top of the vinyl ceiling and speed is good in the 300s for download. Overkill for one device, but it works! Hopefully it’ll be more stable being right above the doorbell. It’s a bit large compared to some other access points I’ve used in the past.

Für meinen Zweck optimal.Ich brauchte eine günstige Möglichkeit in zwei Häusern im Keller, welche verkabelt sind jeweils ein WLAN einzurichten, damit Heizung und Luftentfeuchter in unterschiedlichen Räumen entsprechend versorgt werden. Sowohl PoE als auch per Netzteil - beide Varianten funktionieren einwandfrei. Die Einrichtung war wirklich easy. Das Signal reicht jedenfalls um knapp 70 qm Keller mit Beton-Zwischenwänden entsprechend zu versorgen. Also "durch" eine Wand geht das Signal jedenfalls durch und meine Geräte sind online. Mit den 20% Rabatt lag der Preis auch unter 50 Euro pro Stück. Damit einfache Geräte kommunizieren oder mal ein Handy "im Bunker" online geht - ist so ein AP eine gute Lösung.

I bought this access point for my 2000 sq ft business place. After installing it, it didn’t provide good WIFI coverage and a WIFI weak signal

I was having problems with speed in the basement of my house. I had used repeaters in the past and they just didn't work very well. So this time I decided to go with an access point, I ran a cable, then plugged this into the router directly, now downstairs I'm getting 1 GB on the 5G and 3-500MB on the 2.4 consistently. It was easy to set up, we had it out of the box on the wall and configured all within 20 to 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend it for somebody who is a little frustrated with some of the other network repeaters.

Purchased this AP based on reviews since I don't know much about this company, to replace my aging AP that only supported one standard of WiFi.- I like the dual band, and the signal reaches far, I live in a 2 story townhouse, and now i don't have any dead zones.- The hardware installation was easy, mine sits on the ceiling and I use a POE injector that I previously purchased.- I only use the AP with the Tablet and Cell phone, all my other devices are wired.- I use an Edge router/firewall at the front end that feeds into my home network.- When I initially tried to configure the AP, I couldn't reach the management port at 192.168.10.254 as stated, no matter what browser I used.- I was finally able to reach the setup by directly hooking it up to the Ethernet Port of a desktop PC and was able to configure it.- Aside from this, connectivity and speed are good.

The product is designed really well and performs exactly as advertised. Installation as a booster or as an Access Point was easy, I had no issues setting up in other mode.As for performance, my house is a 3 story building. I have my main router in the my basement since that is where the main coax cable of my ISP comes in.Without the Cudy, my WiFi signal on the first floor was good but on second floor (Bedrooms) was spotty.I have the Cudy on the wall on the second floor, sort of in between the router and my upstairs bedrooms.Now, I have great signal everywhere. My wife and children are very happy. So am I.
