This slices good but is hard to clean and the plate inside the top of the slicer that meets the blade came unsecured after a few uses. This made it easier to clean and I have to manually put it together to use it but it’s still usable.

This is the best! It takes seconds to make fries and seconds to clean up. Perfect everytime and you don't have to worry about pealing your potato's. I love making fries with this and popping in my air fryer for about 20 min. Quick and easy for sure!!

I purchased this item as a gift for my husband. After reading many reviews, I landed on this item because it was a good value and would be easy to clean and store in our small kitchen. We love the size of fries it makes and it's easy to prep and clean. It is very important to note that it is quite difficult to push the potato through the blade, but I knew this because of the reviews I had read. Be prepared to work for fries, no matter which product you choose. I would recommend and would also purchase again. Seems very sturdy, so may not need to replace for many years.

Depending upon the size and type of potato, significant Force may be required to cut into French fry sized strips. But it does work! Side note, if you intend to try for sweet potato fries, you should expect to boil the sweet potatoes first as they are much harder than traditional potatoes.My only complaint is that the blade cutting mechanism is sharpened only on one side. While it is labeled as to which side up, it's hard to see and that makes it easy to assemble with the double side of the blades up. Additionally, we're both sides of the blades sharpened, this would easily double the life of the unit. As it is, once the blades are dulled beyond practical use, it will no longer be usable. Replacement blades are not listed as available.I have bought many Cuisinart products over the years and typically have always been satisfied. Same for this unit, recognizing its shortcomings for what they are. It's a manual french fry cutter and it's not going to last forever. So grunt, lean on it, and it will cut you some nice fries in one of two sizes.

I've bought another like this years ago, it never worked a fraction as well as this one does. I've owned like 5 different fry cutters, this one is my favorite by far. It's super durable, easy to clean, sharp, and stores well. It's not just another kitchen tool taking up space, this gets used a lot. It's great for cutting up more than potatoes too.

Was excited to order as I love homemade fries but hate cutting them. Product was easy to assemble and had clear instructions. But it seems as the plastic was not strong enough to push the potato through the blade or that the blade wasn’t sharp enough to cut the potato. Big disappointment.

So far so good... Sliced a my potatoes easily and quickly which I loved... I am very happy with it especially at the price point as I didn't want to invest in a larger space sucking gadget. This def does the trick... So far have only done white potatoes and looking forward to doing other root veg and sweet potato... I expect it will handle them all with ease after seeing how easily it handled the white potatoes.

Got tired of pulling out the cutting board and knife to try and cut perfectly shaped fries. This French Fry Cutter is so easy to use. Just place the potato on top of the blades and push and out comes perfectly formed fries.So easy to clean because I all you’re really using are the blades and the container for the finished product. It doesn’t make a mess.The only issue is it’s a little hard to push down on it because you’re using your own weight, especially because the potato is so hard. I wish it would come with some kind of lever so that I could pull down and it would push the potato.

Disliked the food pusher not being sharp enough. Takes repeated attempts to "french fry" the potato. Most annoying. Otherwise satisfactory for ease of use /cleaning/storing/.

Liked the steak cut fries option, beats the shoestring fries hands down. Turn out perfect fries if you use an air frier.
