No funciona para Elantra coupe 2013 pero se puede adaptar haciendo nuevos agujeros. Hasta ahora no e tenido problemas.

Needed ALOT of fitting as it did NOT fit my 2014 hyundai elantra even though this was "made for" this car. Holes had to be severely elongated due to the fact that A. Hitch was not centered on the car and B. The muffler kept hitting.

Alright in reading the other reviews I can only second their sentiments. I have a Standard 2011 GLS, which does not have the plastic cover on the driver's side. It took me longer to get my tools together than it did to install. Check out the install video on youtube as it is worth the watch. Great fit, had none of the issues others mentioned with muffler rattle.

Simple to install. Excellent fit.On my vehicle it called for making the two main holes in the chassis tubing bigger. However, there is no need to make the whole hole bigger. It is only necessary to make two opposite ends of the hole bigger so that the spacer and bolt can be pushed in.

Installed this hitch for the sole purpose of mounting a bike rack to my car but still being able to get into my trunk. The install was rather painless but the instructions, and videos I watched of this hitch being installed did not match up with my car. While I expected to have to enlarge some holes in the frame for the mount, the ones I needed to enlarge were not the ones in the videos or the instructions. This may be due to my car being one of the first 2013 Elantras made.I also had to replace the factory resonator isolators with longer ones to keep it from vibrating and sounding like I was trying to mod my car for the next Fast and Furious movie. It was a simple and quick fix for about $10 at the nearest Autozone. I do also suggest spraying where ever you have cut the frame for the bolts to fit with some rustolium or a similar product to protect from future rusting.I am happy with my hitch and it feels secure on the back of the car. The rolled bar design looks nice and compliments the shape of the car. It does not change the ground clearance of the rear of the car by more than a few inches. If the instructions had better matched up with what we had to do to install it I would give it 5 stars.

Easy to install, works great. Would have been super if it was a hidden hitch.

It does fit but the muffler rattle is horrible! There are ways of bending the mounts for the muffler, but I feel you shouldn't have to do that. Plus there is another model by a different company that apparently doesn't have that issue. I wish I would have spent the extra $20 and bought it. I should have listen to the reviews.

Arrived ahead of schedule. Part fit exactly as ordered for my 2014 Elantra. One error in the the directions. There is a plastic shield that needs to be removed and cut to install this hitch. The directions say you only need to do this on the coupe models. I have a sedan and had to do it as well. Not a big deal. A big plus if you have a dremel tool with a small grinding bit. You do need to grind or cut a small amount of metal away to get the bolts into the frame on this installation. Also no real need to drop the heat shield and muffler. I loosened the heat shield a left the muffler in place. Not sure if it saved me any time though. Whole install was under an hour.
