I know this was not the intended use, but this tow chain made for an incredibly simple (and affordable) installation of an outdoor hanging hammock chair. Definitely saved me time and money. Obviously I also had to purchase a hook that screwed into the porch ceiling as well, but the chain swivels well and allows for the needed movement of the chair.

These work, but the springs holding the closing clip in place often get out of alignment and you have to manually move them back into place. Not ideal.
