A custom wiring harness -- also called a T-connector -- is a simple, plug-and-play electrical device that plugs into your automotive electric system and provides a standard, universal trailer wiring connection. This is done using two or more vehicle-specific, OEM-compatible connectors to plug into the taillight assembly, eliminating the need for cutting, splicing and soldering during installation. Custom wiring harnesses are made vehicle-specific, and while they are not available for all vehicles, they do offer one of the fastest, easiest and most secure ways to wire a vehicle for towing. This particular plug-in harness provides a 4-way flat connector socket and is designed to be a custom wiring harness to fit certain years of the Jeep Grand Cherokee (to verify your vehicle compatibility, see application info). Used this on my 2011 grand cherokee and it was a simple hook up but i recommend purchasing the connector bracket for $4. Dealer wanted $175 to activate trailer wiring. This saved me $135. 30 minute install

Not much more to say it's plug and play. It came with instructions no need to figure out the wiring. It's literally plug in play. It also came with zip zip ties to hold the wires up and some new push ribits fasteners.

This was the easiest install I have ever done. I love it when they do all the work for you. The hardest part was getting my old bones down on the ground to zip tie the wires to the wiring harness.Well, actually, it was getting these old bones back up off the ground. I don't have a trailer yet to test it on, but so far so good. All for the paltry sum of 30 bucks.

once you unplug the plug its all plug in and run the wire down and thru the brackets holding the bumper and back up on other light and one hooked up using the supplied self tap screw for the ground .you are set to use .they give you more then enough wire to run and the 4 way wire is long enough .worked out perfect and no worries about shorting system with cutting or soldering wires .

It came okay but 2 wire connection loose, I have to buy heat shrink tube.
