The patented Curve 'lockdown' system uses a revolutionary single loop to 'cocoon' around SUP boards and secure to your vehicle roof. This eliminates the usual problems of board flutter or moving side to side, even in conditions such as windblasts from oncoming trucks.
VEHICLE PROTECTION: 1" (25mm) foam padding provides a protective cushion between SUP's and vehicle roof. Soft Rack interior is lined with soft neoprene cushioning for max board protection.
*NEW* SUP BOARD RAIL PROTECTION: 1" foam padding has been extended in length to cocoon around both SUP Board and Rails - eliminating direct contact where strap meets board rail, a revolutionary way of reducing rail damage!
COMPATIBILITY: Lockdown Racks are compatible with bare roofed vehicles (ie nothing at all on the roof) that have either 4 opening doors, or a combination of front doors and two rear opening windows. Lockdown Racks are also compatible with roofed vehicles fitted with 2x roof rails which run parallel to side of car. Roof rails do not need to be fitted with cross bars.
CONSTRUCTION: each 1" webbing strap is secured by a super strong zinc cast plastic coated cambuckle for ultimate tension and safety.
USEABILITY: Lockdown Racks are configured differently than standard soft racks, so first installation may take extra time until familiar. For this reason we recommend you have prior experience of using soft racks. Once familiar, the racks are simple to use with a single tightening point per rack
CAPACITY: 1-2 SUP boards please note: all types of softrack straps can sometimes make a humming noise due to windage, however this can be simply alleviated by adding a twist or two to each strap.

This is a great value for the money. It was a confusing to set up at first and it’s way easier with two people. The hardest part is that fact you have take the strap out out of the fastener then reinstall it to make the boards secure to your vehicle with a roof rack so pay attention to how it goes back in the fastener. Having someone else to hand you the straps and pull them tight while keeping them in place makes it way easier!

We returned the product because it didn't fit on our vehicle. We only received a fraction of our refund. If you are returning this product, read the fine print as we didn't and only received $37.50 back. Would not purchase from this company again as they are not customer friendly.

Love the rack for my BMW and rental cars. After taking a few minutes to figure it out, it worked great. I have two large SUPs and the rack worked well. I probably wouldn't add a third one though. The wind does cause some vibration/noise, but I have experienced this with every rack I have owned. For the price, portability, and convenience, it is a great buy, highly recommend

Drove a total of 6 hours with these straps at speeds up to 75 mph. The straps worked great! Putting the board on the car and tightening them down was relatively simple. Just have to make sure you tighten them really tight.

Easy to use on my small Honda, holds 2 inflatable boards without any issue. I do have to remove the car antenna , but mine just unscrews.

The system is really frustrating to use, if there is only one person installing it. You have to keep running from one side of the car to the other....the straps slide out, and it's difficult to get it tight enough, if you have only one board. I'm actually selling mine, after only using it a few times. Going back to just good old rachet straps.

I love that this product is light weight, durable, and fairly easy to use. My only complaint is it is best put on with two people. It is doable to set up alone but you will have to run around your vehicle several times. Would recommend!

IF YOU ARE TIRED OF TIE-DOWN STRAPS MAKING MARKS IN THE SIDE OF OF YOUR SUP'S, THIS IS THE SET UP FOR YOU! EASY TO TO SET UP UP AND THEY SECURE YOUR SUP(S) TIGHTLY TO WHATEVER BASE YOU ARE USING. THE NEOPRENE DESIGN ACTUALLY WRAP AROUND THE SUPS SO NO STRAPS TOUCH THE SIDES OF THE BOARDS (UP TO 2 SUPS). IF SECURING MORE THAN 2 BOARDS, THE STRAPS WOULD BE TOUCHING THE SIDES OF THE BOARDS.
