The ones i received has a handle shape to it.Not the flat across shape that is pictured.Still a good spreader if that's what you are looking for.

Is your pastor coming to your house to woodwork? No? Well mine is.. wanted to have some of these around so he could easily spread finish on his woodworking projects.I know this one sounds made up-totally true. Thanks Amazon!

They will work… but not like the pictures and the sizing is not accurate

As others mentioned, the 3" is 2.75" wide. The manufacturer needs to get another ruler or advertise the actual size.However, I find them useful to spread resin, Bondo, putty, etc. And, I also use them for leveling my resin projects. Happy with them but be aware they're 2.75" wide. I also got the 5". They ARE 5". Super.
