As the title says, this is made of all metal, no plastic and is good quality. In my case I needed one for a picatinny rail. I got an adapter and works perfectly. Noth that this one is designed for a sling stud. Here are my thoughts. What I think the all metal constructiona dn quality are good, It could be a little heavy depending on your use. I have a shipping scale and the weight was 15.5 oz, so near a pound. Again, this is more informative than a negative.Thae attach point is all metal and secures well. you can lock it from swivelling of you prefer fixed. One thing I had a little difficulty with was moving the legs. Whatever position they are in, you pull them toward the feet to adjust them. Once I figured it out, nothing to it. I did however notice that agfter movin it just a few times, the finish wore down, so you may need touch up long term.I gave it a 5 star review on quality to price. I can say I think this will last a lifetime with some care.

This bipod feels sturdy and well-built. The tilting function adds flexibility for different shooting angles. It attaches securely and stays in place. The legs extend smoothly and lock in without issues. It's a solid choice for stability while shooting.

This U.S.A. company gets it concerning excellent design, and quality materials ensuring lasting durability. I was happy to see their products regularly populate my Vine feed. When a product shows up that I can use, I don't hesitate to place my order. I have not been disappointed with anything I've ordered thus far. Exceptional quality control. Backpacks, range bags, shooting scopes, mounts, and various other products have all been well thought out in design and function. This bipod is feature-rich and stable. All functions work great.

I ordered this as a backup for my Magpul MOE bi-pod (which I use form my S&W M&P15), or in case I got a second rifle that could use a bi-pod. This CVLIFE is very sturdy/durable as it includes a lot more metal components than the Magpul bi-pod. However, this also makes it a little heavier. For example, this CVLIFE bi-pod weighs 15.3 ounces, while my Magpul is only 8.3 ounces (not a huge deal, but worth mentioning). This CVLIFE is also highly adjustable (5 leg positions, 5 height adjustments, and even an adjustable pivot head). All good things for a bipod. I especially like that, when extended, the legs automatically pull back with a click of a button -- well, two buttons, really, or one per leg (rather than having to do it manually). On the Magpul everything has to be done manually. All for about $20 less than the Magpul Bipod. Really, the only drawback to this over the Magpul is the weight. So if that is a major concern for you then Magpul may be the way to go (but, again, Magpul has more plastic which may not be as durable... and it also costs a little more).

At first glance this bipod is pretty good, but looks can be deceiving. The material is a mix of what feels like quality plastic and metal. It took a bit of effort to get it to install and clamp down tight enough on a couple different rifles that I tried it on, but I was able to get it to snug down tightly. Once installed, it works as it should. The legs extend easily by pulling them out, and retract quickly with a snap when you push the lever. There are angle detents to lock the legs at various angles by pulling outward slightly on the legs. These are easy to adjust, possibly too easy but time will tell if this is an issue in use. There is a lever that locks the pivoting head in place. This lever is pretty tight and it doesn't take much movement to lock it in - it would be nice if the pivoting head was a bit looser, honestly. Time will tell if it breaks in with use. I have two gripes, with the first being a deal breaker. My biggest gripe with this is that there isn't a swivel stud on this bipod. The rendering on the product page shows one, but there isn't one on the model I received. This makes it unusable in the field and relegates it to bunch work only. My second gripe is there should be a way to quickly detach it from the rifle, or a way to detach the legs from the portion that mounts to your sling swivel. The lack of the sling stud is a deal breaker for me. Coupled with the other issues I can't recommend this product at all.

This is an Accu-Tac style of bipod and is made of aluminum and polymer. Using the clamp adjustment knob, it attaches to the sling swivel stud and holds solidly to the forearm. The best feature of this bipod is that the legs are fully enclosed so that the sliding set screw doesn’t scrape your finger when you retract the legs. Most other bipods of this design have an exposed set screw on the back of the legs that limits the length of travel. The problem is that it rapidly moves against your finger when you push the retraction button, which results in a strong stinging sensation that isn’t pleasant. Fortunately, that isn’t an issue with this bipod. This bipod has a tilt capability. On the backside of the bipod is a tension lever that controls the tightness of the tilt feature. When the tension lever is moved to maximum tension, the tilt feature is locked and no longer functions. The legs can be adjusted to a normal 90-degree position or a 45-degree position facing forward or rearward. There are five height settings with the extendible legs. To extend the legs, you manually pull them to the desired length. The legs are spring-loaded, so they will automatically retract when the retention lever is depressed. The leg length varies from 7.5 to 9 inches. On the downside, there is a small amount of slop (wiggle movement) with the leg joints. However, this can be expected with a bipod of this style and at this price point. Also, the bipod does not come with a warranty, which is disappointing but also customary with many CVLIFE products.
