Giving this one a four star because the reticle was at the very top right when I turned it on and it took so many turns to get it centered then sight it in after. Once I finally got it sighted in its holding zero the auto on off is working and the green goes good with my Bear Creek. I would still recommend buying it may have just been my pistol who knows but I am very happy with it. I have multiple cvlife products from bipods to rifle scope there cheap and they work.

I got this sight for my husband. He’s a veteran and has been around guns since he was a young boy, so he’s had lots of experience with guns and different components. I thought this would be something that he might enjoy and might be a good addition to my gun. I was correct. He loves all things related to the sport. He was impressed with this sight considering the price point. He has some that are 8 times the price that he said are better, but, hey, eight times the price. We ended up putting it on my gun. I’m much less experienced but I found it to be a really nice addition for me. Some have commented that it's a little blurry, but I didn’t find that to be an issue. My husband did say that his more expensive sight was a bit crisper. Maybe my lack of experience with those sights made me not miss what I hadn’t experienced. I don’t know. Either way I didn’t find that I had any issues lining up and hitting my target. I found the green to be bright and easy to focus. I did not use it in really bright sun light so that might make a difference, but I don’t really think that it would. I was impressed that even after recoil the sight stayed stable and true. It was super easy for me to use. It has a power button and it’s easy to cycle through the sight options. As I said, I purchased it for my husband, but in the end, I took it back because I like it. According to my husband this isn’t the best sight on the market, but it’s hard, if not impossible to beat, at the price.

I've been wanting a pistol dot where the dot itself isn't just a single MOA nearly invisible pinhole and this is getting there, I'd still like a 6MOA dot and a *very* large circle to just to be able to locate it in a hurry. The Cvlife window frame is really good looking, sort of let down by their less than cool logo though. The glass in that frame is solid this time without any noticeable issues and no artifacts from the emitter or reflections from the window frame either. They fill the box up right with 2 batteries, tools, cleaning cloth and an adequate if not comprehensive set of screws plus a rubber cover so that's a great start. At this point top mount battery is just a given even in cheap optics but the lid was well machined and there were no issues getting it screwed back on. Got good feedback on both adjustment screws, mine needed more adjustment than I expected though. So far it holds zero and has stood up to 9mm recoil but that's one range day. Green is proving to be much better than red for me, I don't see any reason for me to ever get a red optic again. My minor complaints are limited. Since it has a motion sensing feature I don't see the need for instant on from any button press, it's just too easy to bump it by accident and burn through the battery. A long press for on like it is for off would be nice. The instructions are good, they could still be a bit larger print and the pictures of the plus/minus keys just look like black circles. To get a green dot, with multiple reticles and good glass at a $160 price point (or less with coupons) seems like a winner but this still needs to pass the main test, reliability. I've been let down by many budget optics lately, (and some not so inexpensive) including 2 that failed from their first magazine on a 22lr pistol that I've gotten very suspicious of anything without certain names on the box. If this won't hold zero or starts to blink off from recoil after a few more sessions I'll be back for a refund of 4 of these stars.

This could very well be the next great up. CV Life is starting to make a huge impression on me with their budget friendly quality built items. I’ve been blessed to test several different pieces and this optic is no different. It’s tough to evaluate these because most of my optics are trijicon or hallosun but when looking through the clear glass which offers excellent view and distortion, it easily compares to other optics five times the price. There’s no way I could speak in detail about the different layers that make up the lens or internal parts, but I can only speak to this optic in general, every day terms as a layman in this field. This optic attached firmly to a titanium plate and I fired 100 rounds Total and it took approximately eight rounds to zero at first. After hearing I fired approximately 92 rounds some fast and some slow. At no time did this optic become loose or lose zero. I was shooting in the same exact spot at the first round. If you’ve never owned an optic, I would definitely consider this. The optic itself produced a nice clear dot that I could see visibly as I scanned down range. The dot was no problem acquiring when raising up my weapon and focusing on a site picture. I use this topic as a handle to charge my weapon, which did not affect any zeroing whatsoever. The unit itself looks and feels rugged. It is manufactured with high-quality parts in this is a well designed and well engineered piece of equipment. I have owned several budget friendly optics that failed or lost zero by the second and third shot. This one showed no signs of a shifting zero. I went ahead and ordered 1000 rounds of 9 mm and now I’m going to run several hundred rounds through and reevaluate. If anything changes with the zero or I find out any negative aspects I will update my review, but until then this optic competes with the big boys without breaking a sweat.
