I bought the size recommended for my shoe size. When I tried to put them on, I found they were far too small and could not possibly fir over my shoe. I will donate them to a second hand sporting goods store where prospective buyers can try them before buying.

I commute to work on my bike about 80km a day. I have used these on two separate occasions in the rain and they are not waterproof at all. I figured I would try them the second time with pants and they still soaked through. They are probably warm on cold dry days, but do not purchase these if you expect to have dry feet.

2nd time using these on wet Seattle weather commute, initial feedback;Good fit over shoes, Large size on sz. 11 shoes.Warm / keep wind chill out but not very waterproof, I guess fine for mud splashes etc. but steady rain does get through depending on length of ride / how long it takes to soak in. Mine is 5 miles, I got to work before rain has gotten through to my socks but shoes are wet.Fine for what they cost, maybe at that price two pairs would be the trick!

A size L fit nicely over my size 44 road shoes. Though the material is thin, they held up very well this winter and they are totally windproof. With a pair of wool socks under my road shoes and another pair of wool sock tips over the top, I was fine with these covers on a one-hour ride in 28 F. 35-50 F and the wool socks under the shoes are enough.

Reasonable fit - I'd prefer the cleat hole a little neater/smaller so my shoe doesn't pop out in the rain. These are not remotely waterproof - shame because they're good looking and reasonable price. If you're going out in the rain then put plastic bags between the shoe and the bootie or you'll get cold wet tootsies!

I purchased 2 pairs of these relatively inexpensive shoe covers to use specifically for gravel riding. I took my usual step of adding a layer of Duct tape wrapped around the section that covers the bottom of the shoe which extends the life as this is the area that can get damaged when walking. They have proven to be quite durable and have held up well over a couple months worth of use. They keep my feet warm and my shoes reasonably clean and dry although water can enter the shoe from the open bottom so it is still best to wear a waterproof sock if you expect to have some stream crossings on your ride.

I have worn these several times since getting them. The first ride was in the high 30's and dry. My feet stayed warm through out my 13 mile ride. There was a noticable decrease in how cold my toes would get by the end of a ride. the second ride was after a winter rain/snow and the ride was on a gravel road. my feet stayed warm and dry the entire ride. my shoe size is a US 10 or 10 1/2 i bought the large and they fit snug enough that i have to be careful getting them over the ratchet of my cycling shoes. over all I give these a good grade for the price paid. only draw back was the order to arrival time which was almost a month. don't expect to get them quick.

I bought these last minute before a planned 45mile ride that the weather turned foul to heavy rain. They arrived quickly and were very easy to use, and proved to be quite effective over the 45miles of heavy rain, keeping my feet pretty well dry. There was too much water to be 100% dry, but I was satisfied with the performance.

The Shoe Covers received were as I desired. They appear to be, and feel as though they are, both windproof and water-resistant. I liked how they are made and appear to be of good quality. Unfortunately for me, the size Large as recommended for my size 43.5 shoes fit too large. The Shoe Covers fit loose enough that I'd worry about the toe sections not holding securely. I would recommend the size Large for shoes size EUR 45 and above. I will be reordering new Shoe Covers in a size medium.UPDATE: 12/4/22 I am still using the Shoes Covers and they have performed well. I was concerned that they would eventually tear when being stretched over the ratchet buckles of my road and mtb shoes. But they have held up well. After three years they have a couple of small tears but I am happy with my original purchase.
