There is no padding on these shorts. Because of the weather I was unable to try them out. They are just shorts with multiple pockets. I missed the return period.

I bought these without any expectations. Once arrived I was happily surprised. They fit great and pretty inexpensive which was a bonus.

Overall I would say these cycle shorts are great. Love that the padded insert is removable. I purchased medium but probably could have gotten away with a small. I'm 5' 7.5", 135 lbs. I wish the pockets were deeper. My i-phone fits but I can barely zip it up.

I did not realize this came in 2 pieces when I bought it but quickly realized it is far more versatile with the padded shorts lining being separate. I can wear the many-pocketed shorts for hiking and use the padded liner for cycling. Very comfortable. I have not used them for a long ride but for a 5-10 mile ride, they were perfect.

I was very pleased the padding, comfort, and appearance of these mountain bike shorts. They fit as expected and look and feel good.Now that I have used them, I will order another pair.I broke them in on a ride yesterday. I was able to move comfortably on and off the seat without getting snagged.

Best bike shorts I have purchased in awhile. True to size M. Like the separate padded shorts that come with it. Very comfortable. Can't go wrong.

These are light and breathable and comfortable to ride in. The waistband is super lose though, even with the adjustable straps, it doesn’t have enough grip to stay up if you want to walk around in them after your ride. They constantly fall down. Not bad for the price, but I’ll spend a little more nextime for a better waistline fit

I love these. They're loose fitting but decently flattering and the price is right. I actually just wear them as shorts and not biking. They're a bit too long and warm for me too cycle in. There are many pockets, the quality is good, I love the dark grey . .. . Highly recommend.

For MTB, I like the fit, I'm a latina with curves so it's hard to find something not so tight right across the "Venus" line, Lol! My husband thinks that the fabric might be too light in the winter but I think I'll be warm enough. The undies that came with it are short, that's great if you want to use other shorter more causal shorts for more causal biking but, I think is not enough comfort for a longer than two hour rides.
