No, Shanwan controller APP just serves as a game hub to recommend games for you, you can choose to download or not.
2. Does the controller work on Iphone or Android?
Available for both iphone and Android.
3. Does the controller connect via Bluetooth or USB?
Bluetooth.
4. Can the RGB light be adjusted and turned off?
TURBO+R3 cycles the joystick aperture light effects, and TURBO+L3 turns on/off the ABXY key lights.
5. Does the controller support cell phone cases?
Suitable for cell phones with a length of 10cm-17.5cm, and supports conventional cases.

I give it 4 stars bc it's works great my only 2 complaint is the 1 sec lag and the trigger buttons are not touch sensitive like Gane controllers the button is ether full on or full off which sucks for racing games

This controller is a total steal! I got it to play my PC games on Steam Link, and it's been awesome so far. The grip is comfy, and I didn't get any hand cramps even after two hours of gaming. It comes with instructions on how to pair it with your phone, and it works great with my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. I'm thinking of getting another one for my dad. Highly recommend it!

This adapter is so cool!! Whether I'm playing pacman, COD or some other Apple Arcade game this controller is so easy to use. It synced to my iPhone 14 Pro Max pretty easily. That being said ti does hold my iPhone 14 Pro Max perfectly with a little room to spare and it also fits my husband's iPhone 14 Pro. The instruction are pretty clear on how to set up bluetooth for both apple/android phones. The controller is so cool and definitely takes mobile gaming to the next level. It does add a little bit of weight to my phone but, it's really not that bad. It definitely makes game play MUCH more fun on my phone specially games like COD or Mario run.The controller recharges with a USB A to C cable which is included (no brick). Charging the controller takes around 2/3 hours after use. I didn't exactly time it but it didn't take too long at all. The controller surprisingly has a pretty good little motor for the vibration and motion settings. The sticks are smooth with no lag/latency or drift. The controller has an optional burst fire mode which is customizable and pretty cool especially for FPS games. Theres 3 levels of burst fire and you can customize the key that used the burst fire mode. The controller uses tension to secure my phone to it and my phone does feel pretty secure in controller. The controller also comes with this nice little storage case which is also handy for travel and portability. Overall this controller its so cool!! It's very fun to use and play with. It definitely takes mobile games to the next level. I'm very happy with the quality of this phone game controller and I would absolutely happily recommend it!

I wasn't expecting much since the brand name is something I've never seen before. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it up though. It feels nice and solid and not at all cheaply made. I also like the triggers and shoulder buttons because they are kinda like mouse clicks. Best thing about it is how wide it opens. I use a galaxy s23 ultra and even with a bulky case on it still fits (granted it just barely fits). Chances are whatever phone you have, this will fit.

This thing works amazingly perfect, did not know such a thing existed, as a newer release it works on all current phones (android) I did not research iPhone
