I got about 22 months of medium-intensity mountain bike use out of this cassette, on my Giant Trance 27.5" Shimano drive train MTB. It is one of three bikes that I use, on a rotating basis, but it saw pretty consistent action. It held up quite well for the most part, until I used the bike on a 26 mile sloppy mud fest, with plenty of technical rock riding mixed in. The cassette could not handle those conditions, and had to be replaced after. It was chipped, and one of the cogs was bent. So ... not bad .... but also it gave in sooner than I would have expected.

only lasted 6 months, one cog broke off in the middle. Shifting was not as smooth as name brand either.

This cassette works well. I bought it because I wanted a larger granny gear in the back. It fits well and was easy to install. Shifting is as good as the OEM cassette. The only negative is that it is quite heavy compared to OEM. Part of that is due to the larger gears. Overall, a good value for the money.

Put this 11-40 tooth cassette on my carbon cycle-cross bike. It works well, I think it looks pretty good to. It is a bit on the heavy side but it suits me fine. I would recommend this to anyone who is not racing or a weight weenie.Update: 9 months & a few thousand miles later still going strong. About to purchase a 2nd prior to the first one wearing out.

Good product but the threads on the lockring that came with it were off enough where it was unusable. Had to use a different lock ring from an older cassette.

this casette shifts smooth like butter! Just make sure it’s properly lubed, works perfectly with my specialized stumpjumper, I can’t say about durability yet but only time will tell .
