Beware: inspect carefully if you buy. The face plate screw holes on mine were drilled dangerously close to the edge leaving the material literally paper thin. I didn't notice until the bars wiggled one day while riding to work. The aluminum had cracked clear through on the two right bolt holes! These were installed correctly and torqued to 7Nm. Catastrophe narrowly avoided.

Beautiful finishes available. Great price and weight. Be sure you have enough steer tube real estate because clamping area of stem is taller than most.

It's a stem. It's a simple device. You're left with things that matter like bar diameter, it does indeed hold a 31.8mm bar. Reach, it is 50mm. Rise, it is 0 degrees. Beyond that you can look at hardware, which is standard fare. Finally, appearance. It's a nice looking stem that appears well constructed. It has held up to a couple rides, without issue. Nice looks, great price.

Nel corso del tempo ho avuto diversi stem della Wake e sono sempre andati benissimo. Quelli che ho avuto erano dei classici colori rosso, nero ecc.A livello di estetica il colore che ho scelto (rosa e oro) mi è piaciuto tantissimo appena visto. Dalla foto è davvero bello ma dal vivo è spettacolare a dir poco.Quello che mi dispiace è che non ha diametro di 35mm, quindi per manubri più recenti, ma 31,8. Nulla di grave ma su bici più moderne non lo monterei.Inoltre il prezzo trovo sia un po' alto considerando che lo stesso identico stem, ma di un singolo colore, costa esattamente la metà. Immagino però che il prezzo più alto sia dovuto ad una colorazione differente e più particolare.

Moin ihr Lieben,Hier bekommt man einen sehr gut verarbeiteten Lenkervorbau. Ich würde sagen das der nicht nur für Rennräder ist. Ich habe ihn an meinem Semi-Mountenbike montiert und das ging hervorragend. Die Verarbeitung ist auch sehr sauber. Ich kann leider nichts über die Materialqualität sagen, wirkt auf jeden Fall alles sehr wertig. Bis dahin alles Gute 😀.

Niveau qualité rien a redire, et elle est assez jolie.Dommage de pas avoir le "capot" qui vient sur la potence, celle de mon vélo n'était pas ronde donc elle ne s'adapte pas.

Questo attacco è in grado di trasformare completamente il look della nostra bicicletta donandogli aggressività e sportività estrema! Il peso non è leggerissimo (140 g) tuttavia il serraggio è stabile e preciso. In confezione è presente anche la chiave esagonale apposita. Un prodotto davvero robusto e curato. Per me promosso a pieni voti.

The finish on this is every bit as nice as it looks in the pictures. I wish I had an entire bike that looked like this.As a stem, yep, it's a stem. It fits a 31.8mm set of handlebars perfectly. It clamps on there well and hasn't moved around or damaged the handlebars in my experience. It's so pretty that I've been keeping it clean, despite the fact that it's on a minibike that I built.As far as value goes, it is nearly double the price of the exact same stem from the exact same company without the pretty colors. So, are the pretty colors worth double the price to you? Well, I guess that's for you to decide. It's only $10, which I suppose isn't a massive amount to spend for the pretty colors.
