I should have listened to the advice on other reviews. With the utmost care and attention in installing these: One nut did not fit at all in the hole, one bolt's threads cross threaded, and at 8Nm torque, one bolt head stripped.

Two of the five bolts stripped at 4nm. The industry standard torque spec is typically 8nm.The coating looks nice, but the material quality is very poor.

I change chainrings at least 3x a month. It's been close to a year now and they still hold up. No indication that they are going to strip if and when I tighten them.Just be sure to use a torque wrench and take care that you don't cross-thread them. This way they will probably last forever.Update 3 July 2021:With an ftp of 360w and almost another year later they still last. If you use a torque wrench you cannot over tighten and strip them. Still 5⭐ from me.

This is listed as an M8 bolt, which means the threaded shaft should be 8mm outer diameter. However, the detail of the listing said the HEAD of the bolt was 8mm diameter. I posted a question about this, but the answer did not confirm if the threaded shaft o.d. is 8mm or not. I took a chance and found fact, the threaded shaft (not the head) IS M8, and the product and delivery were good. Listing could be clearer, otherwise, very satisfied.

I was using this red bolts with an ovall Hemeraphit chaingring 32t, a XT derailleur and XT chain, i love it look amazing!
