Over-inflated tires have long braking distance and are easy to slip on rainy days, also the middle part of the tire will wear too fast. Under-inflated tires need to consume more fuel while driving, not good for purses and the environment. A resonable inflated tire save fuel, increase the tire's lifespan, improve the driving experience, and insure the driving safety.
Please use tire pressure gauge to test the wheel pressure every week regularly when the tire is cold, especialy before long distance travel.

Easy to operate
Twist off the valve cap, press the mechanical tire gage chuck to the valve, then the scaleplate will slip out and you can read the tire pressure from the scaleplate. After using, please twist on the valve cap and push the scaleplate back. Please make sure the tire is cold when you test the tire pressure.

A must have for your tire maintenance. BUT the pressure reading stick and markings a bit too small to read. You might want to order a magnifying glass as well.

My bicycle pump doesn't have a pressure gauge on it, so I've been bringing one of these with me as I cruise around the city. I'm always leaving my bike outside, and so it seems depending on the temperature my pressure can decrease faster than you'd think. Lifesaver!

I've bought cheap plastic tire gauges (electronic, etc.) and they just don't last. So I searched for tire gauges made of metal and not electronic. Electronic gauges have a limited batttery lifespan. This is old school technology which will last a long time. Sometimes you just need what you know will work. So far it seems to be a quality tire gauge.
