Initially, I was concerned that I was in over my head to try to replace the fuser/laser, but after some sleuthing on the internet I managed to replace them both, reset the Brother printer defaults to "0", and now I have another satisfied customer. Parts fit perfect, prints like new, who could ask for anything more! The only way it could be better is if parts were free!

These fuser units can blow out, or they can just get weaker and not hot enough to keep fusing print after print. This one is pre-lubricated, and doesn't require any longer warm-up period than the one I removed. If anything this one comes up to temperature faster.It's on the hot side, but doesn't cause any issue with a range of toners (I checked several brands) which all looked nice and shiny after fusing - and there was no spotting, no speckling, and no "glaze" on the unprinted paper surfaces. This is a good choice when your fuser either goes out or weakens. I recommend it based on my good experience.

This is a good product. This is the second one I’ve ordered over the course of three years. I use a YouTube video, it was very easy to install. My printer was up and running in no time.
