The HTS digitally indicates accurate relative humidity levels ranging from low (under 20%) to 99%. Temperature is displayed in both Farenheit or Centigrade ranging from -32oF to 122oF. A programmable set point monitors the minimum humidity desired. When humidity is below the set point, an icon (water drop) will indicate it is necessary to use a humidifier. The high and low memory indicates the highest and lowest temperature and humidity levels your instrument has been exposed to, as well as the date and time of that high and low, since the last reset. I checked the accuracy of this hygrometer using the Boveda calibration kit, and both of the hygrometers I purchased measured within 1 degree of the test kit. Other hygrometers I've used in my guitar cases were off by 5%. I have one of these in each of my guitar cases along with daddario humidipaks...a must have to protect the guitars from humidity changes.

I hang my ukuleles on the wall and I was concerned that I was allowing them to be damaged by being in an environment that is too dry. I keep this Hygrometer by the ukuleles and know that they are safe in my home environment without keeping them in cases with individual humidifiers. If my humidity dips, I will see it. Now I know that my little musical investments are safe.

After receiving the D'Addario hygrometer I decided to check it's accuracy using the salt test (you may Google it to understand more). The idea is to put you hygrometer in the close environment (for example zip bag) along with a wet salt and leave it for 6 to 8 hours. Then you hygrometer reading should be 75% of relative humidity. As you can see on attached photos the D'Addario hygrometer shown 100% accuracy. I was very happy about it. Now I can store my newly bought guitar in the right conditions. Also this hygrometer has a temperature sensor, clock and calendar. It has got a memory function and can show when the maximum and minimum relative humidity has occurred. Great functionality and very easy to use. Highly recommended.

I got this for my Taylor 214E DLX, because it's an investment and I want to protect it. The hygrometer does what I need it to do, easy to set up and to read, and the price is good. I'll be buying a second one for my workhorse guitar, an Ibanez Artwood mahogany dread.

Chi possiede strumenti come chitarre sa quanto l'umidità dell'ambiente abbia impatto sulla risonanza e sullo 'stretching' che il legno dei nostri stumenti subisce nel tempo. Spesso bisogna ricalibrare il Truss Rod proprio a causa di repentine variazioni di questi parametri ambientali.. Ho trovato questo strumento molto utile per tenere sotto controllo l'umidità. La durata della batteria a mio avviso è sufficiente (dura parecchi mesi) ed il prezzo irrisorio al quale ho avuto la fortuna di pagarlo me lo fa consigliare.

This works great if you have a guitar or any other wood instrument that needs to be kept at a constant relative humidity (RH)%). This allows me to open my guitar case and at a glance see if the RH is conducive with keeping my guitar in good shape and to avoid possible issues down the road in regards to cracks and glued joints coming undone. It also allows you to check the history to see if during travel it may have been stored in less than ideal conditions. A relatively inexpensive tool that can save you hundred if not thousands of dollars down the line.

Good device, small and accurate. Ideal for monitoring humidity in an instrument case. The battery it came with did not last long and I ended up buying more from amazon basics that last longer.Very reliable hygrometer - just do yourself a favor and buy a few CR2032 batteries with it to save yourself frustration down the line.

Mi aspettavo qualcosa di più solido e, a questo punto, di meno Caro! Se compravo un igrometro della Oregon spendevo di meno con risultati migliori. Non parliamo dell'applicatoree a spugnetta.....se me lo costruivo a casa, era meglio. Rapporto qualità prezzo, pessimo! Consegna Amazon sempre ineccepibile

購入しました。ギターのケース内で温湿度を計るために使用しているようです。リアルタイムの温湿度と最高最低の温湿度の日時が記録されるのも便利だと言っていました。加湿器具の方は普段は使っていないようです。

I bought two of these several months ago, from Amazon. One works. The other has faulty battery contacts ... once I attempted to fix that, the display showed nothing but numeral 8s all across. Efforts to clear or reset prove fruitless. Both of the devices wore out their batteries in about six months. These are, or should be, very low-current devices, since they have a small LCD display and no illumination or alarm feature, and those lithium batteries are very long lived, normally. This device is utter crap. I won't buy another. Hugely overpriced as well. With a chip like that, cost to manufacture probably is less than half a dollar. Even if yours keeps working, you can't reset or adjust it without the instructions in hand, because the user interface was designed by sadists. Google the product name and you can find the manual online.
