I didn't have a cap for my JodyJazz DV alto, so I ordered this. It's the exact cap that comes with the DV New York, so it's perfect! I believe all DV's are coming with a proper cap now, but if you need a replacement for yours, get this! It also fits perfectly with a JodyJazz Power Ring ligature. It is not loud when dropped and keeps the moisture in. Does the job great!

I can't count how many saxophone and clarinet mouthpiece caps I've gone through over the years. Plastic ones break from trying to take off the mouthpiece when the reed and cap are on, metal ones dent my instruments or are incredibly loud when dropped in the orchestra pit in the middle of a show (yup). So when I finally found this cap, I bought them for all my saxophones and clarinets. The plastic has a very high rubber content in it, so it is extremely durable and hard to bend even if you tried. It's so rubbery that I was even able to slice pieces off of it with a razor blade (be VERY careful) to make it fit with my ligatures on both my tenor and alto. The snug fit makes it very comfortable to grab and move around with the reed and ligature on. Highly recommended. With the ligature listed above on both my tenor and alto saxes, I bough two of the , one for each alto and tenor, and then used this Alto cap for my clarinet, also equipped with a

What more do you really want from a mouthpiece cap? it holds a Rico Graftonite A5 snuggly, and it caps your mouthpiece. For beginners: take your reed of your mouthpiece before you cap it please. Your reed will get moldy and nasty.
