Well I bought these and they fit, but they fit weirdly my lens is D5200 18-55mm and it kind of sits out of the lens when covering rather than fitting perfectly. It's hard to explain, but just imagine a thicker and bulkier version of the original lense.

These are better than no lens covers for sure, and the way they work mechanically is less prone to breakage than the regular Nikon lens cover that it came with my lenses. That said, for my lenses they need to be oriented a certain direction relative to the lens, otherwise they'll be too loose to stay one. When positioned correctly they stay on very well though, they're just a bit finicky. If 3.5 Stars were an option that's where I'd rate them but due to the price I gave them 4 since they're pretty cheap and you get what you pay for. Hope this helps future potential buyers!
