The image you fine with this review is how you should wire it. This might help someone out.. this is a latching switch. Meaning when you put it in position forward, it stays put in the back position. It stays doesn’t toggle back to the middle.1. As you can see from the picture the left and right sides of the red and black red be positive black being negative..2. Two blue wires the ones in the front those are for reverse polarity when you toggle the switch one way the negative and positive change position, depending on the back of motion you placed the switch in..So you can hook the positive red and a black negative in any order to the other end of whatever you want to control.3. so the black and negative wire on both sides as an example would go to your battery positive and negative then blue wires would go to the voter fan or whatever it is. You want to connect the black-and-white wire to that particular motor that you’re trying to run.It’s a good switch we found nothing wrong with it. Nothing bad to say about it. Feel sturdy seems built well comes with a waterproof boot and wires.

Bought a 4 camera system that has individual trigger wires for all 4 channels. This 1 switch serves as 2 triggers (front- up, back- down). The other 2 triggers are on the turn signals. Exactly what i needed!

Using this for a theater lighting shutter gadget. Feels more solid than the cheapies I've bought in past. Looks great in the little black project box I got on Amazon. Worth the price. Again, don't buy the cheapest anything, especially if your job depends on it.

I didn’t realize the switch was a momentary switch for either direction when I purchased it. That mistake is on me. I attempted to return it but I hate you missed the deadline. So basically I haven’t installed or use the switch. I still have it new in the package. But the look and feel of it seems to be a good quality. Maybe I’ll be able to use it for something else at a later date.
