They are BBs and are as accurate as the user. Not very in my case but still fun to use.

It can be pretty difficult to hold a 1/4" ball in a heavy leather sling. After a few shots it can start to get annoying trying to 'find' the ball in the sling and get a confident pinch on it.The mass of the 1/4" balls is fine for pretty short range shots, say about 35 feet at most, but I think 5/16" or maybe 3/8" would be a more practical and useful all around ammo size for slingshots. If you're not experienced in slingshot plinking, you might be surpised how quickly you can go through ammo. If you're shooting pretty steady for an hour you might use half a box or more. A magnet can help you recover your ammo but I recommend buying a couple boxes if you're going on a camping trip or weekend slingshot tour or some other type of event where you plan to shot a lot throughout the week/weekend.

First off I have to laugh at the some of Amazon's "Rate Features" section... with this product. They are asking me to rank (with the stars) "WARMTH". I have NO IDEA what they are asking... but no they are not warm. Unless I leave 'em in the sun :-))Now on to the Review:I have not 'shot' a Slingshot for decades (basically since I was a kid), but recently I found a need for one, so I purchased a fairly decent one. It came with some practice 'balls/rounds' which were plastic. A family member had some marbles, so we set up a few cardboard boxes/targets to fire at... WOW was I impressed with a modern day slingshot could do.So while on Amazon, I did see this product and decided to try 'em, so I purchased, and I like. These little ball bearings (slingshot ammo) can defiantly do some damage. I tested them at 20 yards.I am using a "Barnett Cobra" to launch these projectiles.Accuracy - Its a round ball. I got better, and more accurate with time spent with the slingshot.Value for Money - That is subjective, but I would say Yes. Although there are probably infinite possibilities to find something to launch. Like old ball bearings, or even cheap ones to practice. As kids we used rocks or marbles. These are 1/4 inch... the marbles I was launching were 1/2 in. and I like the feel when pulling back. Going to find some "ammo" in 1/2" steel.Hope that Helps.

Great product, great ammo for a slingshot. Fast shipping as usual.WARNING! These are not toys. Do not allow little Johnny off by himself. This ammo is 1/4 inch in diameter. Larger and heavier than a .177 pellet for a pellet gun.Can kill or seriously injure a small animal, property damage, etc.Downside: I am already out! Fun to plink with. I target shoot only BTW!

These are not perfectly round. One side is flat from the production process. Its not really much of a problem for a slingshot that they are not perfect spheres, just don't say they are if they aren't. I would give these 4 stars if "perfectly round" was not in the product description. I was meaning to order the 3/8 size, but accidentally ordered these. I wouldn't give these 5 stars if they were perfectly round because I just think 1/4 is too small a shot for a slingshot. usable, but really too small.
