This item was listed as correct part for my machines make & model. Mounting was easy. However once assembled the fit was too tight to pull starter cord. Ended up removing the cord & replaced my old cord with the new one. Would have preferred replacing the whole unit. Did not want the hassle of calling in to complain or shipping the item back.

Item is a perfect fit for the troybuilt ex550 with the Briggs and Stratton 150cc engine. Install was easy and pretty self explanatory. As I use my mower a lot almost daily I started noticing a little fraying on the pull cord within the first 10 days. So far it's worked well, will update my review as for durability in the future.
