Started right up after install. Would only run right for about 30 seconds. Adjusting the high gets it running better but still surges at full throttle. It's not what you want. Try a different one. I've bought 30 to 40 Chinese carbs and always had good luck. Not this one.Update: Seller contacted me after my review and offered a full refund. Customer service at its finest.

Easy to install and ran perfect. All I needed was the primer bulb but the entire carb was less expensive and easier. Only problem was I got the 2 fuel lines backwards and it would not prime. Figured it out and off I went. Now I have a lifetime supply of primer bulbs and air cleaners. Sparkplug that came is not the same heat range. i will probably keep original.

*Updated*Nicely packaged containing all parts described in the ad. Installation was easy. Fuel pumping side of carb keeps bulb full. Engine runs well at low and high speeds. Had in my earlier review reported difficulty reducing engine idle speed to release centrifugal clutchRevision:Oops! That idle speed issue derived from my having created a small vacuum leak during installation. Detected and corrected my installation error and now with that Dalom SRM230, properly installed, my 10 year old Echo PE230 Edger performs like new. Great product, and an absolute bargain!

The carb was easy to install, went ahead and put on a new fuel filter that came with the order. I did not use the extra gas lines, spark plug and air filters. I'll use them down the road if I need them. I pumped the primer bulb a few times and it started right up. Used it for about 2 hours. For the price you can't beat it. I did notice that it does not have the top end revs that the original carb did but went through some really thick high grass in the ditch in front of my place with no problems. If it last a couple of years then it is money well spent. This was a better option than spending $350 on a new Echo or Stihl. I have used my weed eater about 6 hours since installing the carb with no problems starting or running. This was a great buy.I thought I would update my review. My Echo trimmer is still working well after a full season of use. It starts with two or three pulls when cold and one pull when warmed up. This was a great buy. But the only draw back is that it does not have the top end revs the oem carb had but still does the job in high grass and weeds.
