My daughter is on a competitive dance team and is required to wear all black for practices. She’s a true kids size 8 and the sweater fit perfectly and looks adorable. Fabric is nice and soft too. It hasn’t been through the wash yet, but I think it’ll do fine.

This will work for daily wear, not just ballet. The body of the sweater fits slim, but the sleeves are more true to size. One star off b/c the fabric is a bit pilly.
