This is a good tile slippage system - better (IMHO) then those that need a special tool ('cus you're gonna lose that tool). It works well, though I would purchase the clear plastic shields also - when you turn the red knobs it is easy to get mortar/grid underneath and scratch the tiles.The bases are fairly easy to remove once everything looks good and mortar is dry. Though occasionally (1 in 15) the break is not clean at the base and I need to remove the plastic (now standing out in gap between the tiles with an oscillating tool. Also when installing, be sure to progressively tighten around the tile(s) rather than do one at the time. This helps bringing up the tile as well as controlling the shift (tiles do shift a bit when you put on the pressure).

This is a very good tile leveling product that helped me finishing my backyard tile project at home. All the pieces are equals to each other and aim their purpose. A friend of mine recommended me this because of the price and gave me some that he had left.

They were not near as stiff as actual spin doctors, the edges flex under tension, complete different type of plastic, way softer, just stick with spindoctors ridigitity

I like this tile leveling system. It works well, these screw on caps are very solid, they hold multiple hits with rubber mullet and by now I only loose a few and that’s because I stepped on them.
