This boot isn’t tough enough for the type of Wildland firefighting done by hand crews in California. Better for an engine crew firefighter perhaps.

Well let me say these boots are already falling apart, with in a month of hiking on a cold fire the stitching in the heel area is already coming apart. Few others I have spoke with have had the same issues, which theirs had started at different times. I see this as a manufacture flaw. I’m just hoping they will stand by their warranty.Price was good at the time of purchase.

Too small and had to return. Price has now jumped $80, frustrating.

I bought these with the intention of using them for wildland fire in the mid west but also hiking/hunting. I wore these on a fire assignment after a couple weeks of wearing them and they were amazing! In the rocky billy goat country of northwestern Ontario these boots saved my feet. They dried fairly quickly when we were dropped in a swamp compared to everyone else's and my feet rarely hurt. Highly recommend these boots.

These boots were everything I'd hoped they'd be. Can't say enough. They are the right choice for me.

Comfortable, supportive, light and fairly breathable. Haven't done too much in them yet, but they're easy to walk in, nice and stiff in the ankle but still comfortable and not too hot. They seem a little narrow to me, but I think they'll break in.
