Your cart is empty.It will stay on your treble hook (we recommend a #4 or #6) without the use of a sponge or screw. Just punch the hook to the bottom of the container using a "punch paddle" or a stick and pull it out using the line. All the bait you need will be on the hook. No need to touch the bait with your hands.

14 oz containers were advertised and ordered but 12 oz containers were received so basically we were shorted 2 oz per container.

I have never used this product before I purchased it or any other punch baits. I have always used cut bait or liver when I have fished for catfish. This stuff delivers and it lives up to the hype. I recommend using a treble hook and keeping it on ice to keep the product cold before and during each time you use it. Danny Kings Punch Bait is well worth the money!

Cons:- Does not make fish magically appear to your bank fishing spot- Not the magic bait fish bite every time you fish with it- Stinks to hell and back- Requires a stick which is not included Pros:- Cheap, portable, and lasts forever- Catches all types of catfish but mostly channels and mostly 20 pounds or less- Works sometimes when others baits dont- Good success % over the last 10 years for meTips:- Bait should be moist but not have standing liquid. Add liquid or pour the excess in the water as chum- Quality #4 treble, push it in at an angle with a stick and pull straight out- Cast easy and keep the casts in the same general area. You can't sling it like a live bream- Rebait as needed. This stuff stays on the hool well but not forever, especially in heavy current or windy conditions, but the bits that fall off will bring in more fish.- Keep it off your hands, clothes, boat, pliers, or anything else you value.- Bring more than 1 bait. Period. Fish like different things at different times

I didn't give this 5 stars only because I haven't used it myself. My dad and kids love it. We have had several recent fish fries, which they only used this brand of punch bait to catch the fish. My dad said it will keep for years (his previous container lasted him that long before he retired ;-). I don't know how bad it smells, how messy it is, or anything like that. I have had to order several for my dad and his older friends that don't use the internet (this is not carried in any of our local stores). I found this for 5.99 (online only for my area) at Academy, but it was 9.95 in shipping (free shipping for orders over $25, but I wasn't ordering that much so this was overall cheaper).

This nasty smelly stuff works. Catfish love it. It is way better than anything in a store. I highly recommend this for any catfish fisherman.
