I bought the first one and installed it to see how good it is and how well it holds up. Happy to say, after almost a year I’m pleased enough to buy another for our second house that’s been installed and used for more than six months now. Installation is relatively easy but it would go better if you had a helper to lock the line at the very last step when you’re stretching the line at full tension to hook on to the opposite end. Appears to be good solid construction and well designed enough for very reasonable installation and use. Line doesn’t lose tension and holds up without excess sagging under a full load of wet clothes.

Put two of these up some time ago. They have both held up well and hold plenty of laundry. They are great as they can be retracted when having guests over.

Needed a clothe line in my room to hang my delicates. I placed it under my ceiling fan to help the clothe dry faster. So glad I made the purchase, makes my life a little easier and I can retract the line when I’m done and everything is out of my way.

Looks the way it should like the picture but sucks at holding things with any kind of weight over 5 pounds. It was easy to install but the two pieces come right off with weight.

This clothesline works great! Easy to install and very sturdy. Great for drying things you do not put in the dryer. Can hold quite a few items and retracts easily!

This has a very good quality, outside is plastic but it has an aluminum shell inside so it's not going nowhere, also it has metal ropes so you can hang wet clothes or sheets, easy to install and looks very clean.

The product works great, until you have something heavier on it. All 4 screws broke off at the head and the backing fell off of the wall leaving the threaded part in the wall. The clothes line should have been able to handle the weight, it was not that heavy or bulky.

This arrived the same day as ordered. Appears to be sturdy enough for the task but only time will tell. Listing fails to mention that there are backplates that you install to the walls. This makes installation much easier and allows you to remove the main unit during the rainy season. My walls were stucco which required a special masonry bit for the holes. I used the provided plastic screw anchors which are not ideal for stucco so I may need replace which different anchors if it starts to pull away from the wall. There are 5 screws for the main unit and 4 each for the anchors which seem sturdy enough for now.I wanted this out of site from my neighbors and close to my laundry room so I chose the side of my house which gets full sun half of the day. It's about 7 feet across so I chose to install the anchors at a diagonal to the main unit so the cable length ends up around 11 feet. This gives about 20 total feet of usable clothes line.I tested the strings and it seems to work fine but I wish there was a way to tension the wire because there is a bit of slack even after it is locked. I'm not too concerned since I'll be using clothes pins to keep everything from sliding to the middle.That said, I have yet to actually put a load of wet clothes out on this so I'll update if there are any problems. I do not expect any at this time.
