Very happy with every aspect of these crates: price, shipping cost, size, appearance, sturdiness. A shipping issue caused by USPS had me communicating with the business and they were both very quick to reply and very helpful and accommodating. Thank you.

It’s very well-made, and a great size, but I ordered two and the seller said they shipped two, and that two were delivered, but I only received one. The seller responded quickly when I contacted them about this, and said they’d ship out another one, but that was about 10 days ago, and I haven’t received any shipping notification or follow-up communication from them.

These vinyl crates are honestly amazing. I spent a long time looking for something to hold my records, but it was hard to find something that met my needs while still being affordable. I love how these are stackable, so you can essentially add as many as you want and create a record shelf. They also hold a lot of records, and hold them in place well. They look good and are sturdy. They come pre put together so are super easy. Highly recommend if looking for some reliable, simple vinyl storage.

I had searched for LP containers for quite a while before buying these. I ordered two of them to test them out. They are very well made, sturdy, and stack well. The color is a bit lighter than the color in the photo, but I really like the color of the crates I received. Like them so much I ordered two more as well as the cherry stained turntable stand, which I will use for either a side table to a very large rustic rocker or as an album holder, using the top to hold a lamp or something. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. BTW, this is not fine furniture for $39.00, but a record crate. I don't understand the criticism on quality. These will fit in with high quality furniture since it is obvious they are just record creates and look like they are supposed to look.

Gotta give these 5 stars, despite a few issues.I was thrilled to find that they're pre-assembled. I had forgotten how good that feels. :-) They look nicer than I thought they would. I expected the wood to be rough and splintery, but it it is nice and smooth. The color will go well with most things; in my photo, you see that it doesn't look bad next to the ancestral oak bookcase. For sure, this is not fine furniture; there are quite a few knots and a few knotholes that go all the way through; but it's great for an informal setting, like a home office, and very sturdy. The biggest issue is the stapled construction, which another reviewer mentioned. If you place one of the crates like a shelf and try to lift it up by one of the slats, the slat may pull out. It did for me. It was easily banged back in, but I would not carry it it around when full of records. I'd be afraid of the bottom falling out. But I'm using it in a fixed configuration as shelves for 78s, LPs and CD box sets. Also, if you don't mind a little modification, you could add screws to strengthen the joints.I bought six crates and fastened them two wide and three high, as shown. Each horizontal pair is screwed together with four screws through the adjacent end panels. I just used cable ties to hold the layers to each other while filling it. It's not really necessary, since the weight holds it in place.I'll eventually put a top on it and place my turntable there.Another issue is that the dimensions given are wrong. Externally, the crates are 17-3/4" wide, not 17", as stated. So my assembly is 35-1/2" wide, not 34", as I had expected. This is actually a big deal, because I was going to buy another item to fit to the left of it; but now I have to pick something else, because it will not fit, due to the excess width of the crates.Did I mention that it's very sturdy? If not, it's very sturdy. :-)Oh... one more thing. I don't know if this is the manufacturer's issue or Amazon's. The order said it would be shipped in a single carton and I got a tracking number. When the carton arrived, it contained only two crates. I contacted the seller, and the response was that there were three cartons shipped and he gave me the three tracking numbers. The cartons were delivered on three successive days. I wish the order had just said there would be 3 cartons and given me the 3 tracking numbers. It would have saved me the hassle of inquiring.

I started buying these last November after I decided to start collecting vinyl records again. I quickly filled up one crate and had to buy another. Now, in just a few months, I've managed to fill five crates. They are very sturdy and well made, perfect size for 33's. I also have tab dividers and there's just enough room for the dividers to stick up above the records for me to be able to see them, but also for me to be able to stack the crates without bending the dividers. These would be great for files, toys, or other large type items that can't slip through the sides. I will definitely be buying more of them as my collection of records grows. Fast shipping too and they arrive in a nice oversize cardboard box.

Great, solid heavy-staple construction. I can haul these crates around full of albums without fear of anything breaking, and the plain wood is elegant enough to not look out of place in my living room. I can fit about 70 records in one crate, including lots of thick gatefold sleeves and everything in an outer plastic sleeve, still with room enough to see each album as I flip through them. I've purchased two of these so far, and I have every intention of purchasing more of them as my collection grows.Update: A few years later, I'm up to 5 of these, all of them still going strong. As others have mentioned, the staples can come loose, but I have had no issues whatsoever picking these up full of records and carrying them around -- so long as I grab them by the thicker side pieces and not the slats.I looked at some other record storage crates that claimed to be "stackable", but they could only stack with the records lying down at a steep angle, because their sides weren't as tall as an album. Not so with these crates: they are TRULY stackable, even full of records standing straight and tall.I use them as drawers, essentially. Pictured here fitting perfectly beneath a pair of IKEA Lack Console Tables. 3 fit under 1 table.
