I got these socks before I went to check the Himalayas. I got wool That way, I could wear them all day and not worry about my feet getting stuffy and sweaty. They worked pretty well, but weren’t the most comfortable socks I’ve ever worn. Not bad not great.

I love the crew no cushion socks. The inch or two taller mid-calf sock feels extra tight on my calfs. Says crew here when you select the sock, but then Amazon changes it to mid-calf at checkout. I didn't notice the bait-and-switch change Amazon did on me at checkout. When I received them I thought it was a Darn Tough product change from a few years back; nope, Darn Tough still sells the crew version, you just won't get them here.

Impressed by the quality but given how expensive these are I’m not surprised. No negatives after first wear, they fit well and are the right thickness. The lifetime guarantee was the reason I purchased these, seems like a great deal

I searched Amazon for “darn tough women’s black socks” and found this product. Blissfully forgetting that articles of clothing are a product of the patriarchy, I purchased a size M because after all, I’m a women’s 7.5-9.5. The socks came. They are my sixth pair of Darn Tough socks, and I instantly realized that they were a men’s size. Unfortunately, I needed any pair of warm black socks more than I needed to affirm my dignity, so I have worn them and will store them for situations that call for big socks. I’ve already purchased another pair (size S this time), but what I really want is to live in a world where men’s socks and women’s socks are labeled appropriately. I hope that someday a man purchases a pair of socks online only to realize that he’s accidentally purchased a pair of women’s socks that were not described as such. It is yet another indignity that modern women suffer, and it pains me to support the way this product is advertised. If Darn Tough socks were not quite so delightful, I would boycott this product altogether.

They are very comfortable. Fit is good. I haven't noticed any issues. I'm just wondering how they will do in terms of lifespan but good so far.

Best pair of socks I've used. Excellent durability and wicks moisture away great. I phased out my fits and darn toughs for these (I have 16 pairs now)

These are undeniably the best socks I've ever had. Over the past 2 years, I have gradually replaced all the socks in my collection with Darn Tough socks, and I can never go back. And the comfort LASTS, it is impossible for me to tell the difference between my Darn Toughs that are 2 years old vs 1 month old. Plus, the blisters and discomfort of breaking in new shoes is totally a thing of the past with these socks. And their unconditional lifetime guarantee is amazing. From their website: "In a nutshell, if you wear a hole in them, we will replace them free of charge, for life."

I bought two pairs the same size, however this pair is quite a bit tighter. Prefer the Crew Sock Cushion much more.

If I were a sock salesman, this is the only brand that I would recommend. I have used up a lot of socks running and hiking. These babies really last and are the best quality.

I actually bought one of those packs on amazon that lets you purchase 6 socks for 18 bucks. I was thinking how bad can it be? Well, after every single pair developed holes in it after 2-3 days of use, I was sold on the Darn Tough Vermont socks. They're not just more durable, they're more comfortable. I never knew it was such an amazing feeling. My advice to anyone out there is to just try one of these and one pack of the cheapo socks. You'll feel the difference!

They seem like they'll live up to their name. I'd prefer a softer sock, but would sacrifice that to have the socks last longer. They fit well, and are fairly long tp provide warmth
