Works as it should with a Gentex 453 Homelink mirror. But the adhesive on the USB enclosure is trash. Peel that junk off and replace it with something good like 3M VHB. It didn’t even last a day on my truck sitting in the driveway. And it was only 70 here in FL. On a summer day here it would probably melt.

Fits perfectly on the 2009 Infiniti G37 Sedan.Does not fit 2014 Mazda Cx5. (Cx5 has no notch).

Make sure you’re ordering the right one. Different trim levels have different connectors. Saved me from wiring a jumper circuit to the fuse box. Nice and clean.

Purchased for my 2004 Mazda RX-8. It was the easiest installed I have ever done. Used it to connect a Dash Cam. Note my OEM mirror has a homelimk button and that the power the connector supplies is only ACC (the key needs to be in the ignition). So, you would not be able to use the 24hr monitoring setting on most Dash Cams. Not a problem for me since I only want the Dash Cam on while driving.

This adapter worked perfectly for my 2017 Miata RF. Made it super easy to install a dash cam and keep the cables organized / hidden from view.Edit: I’ve started getting a Retractable Hardtop Malfunction and Power Steering Malfunction warning for a few seconds every time I shut off the engine. The errors only happen when the power is shut off and they disappear after a few seconds. I unplugged this adapter and sure enough, the problem went away. It seems to have something to do with the adapter and its electrical usage confusing the ECU when the engine is turned off.

This device is plug compatible with my 2022 Nissan however it does not send power over USB. After installation, the rearview mirror continues to receive power but the the USB cable does not deliver 5 volts.

It works with my Viofo A119 Mini 2 dash cam. The plastic cover behind the rear view mirror does not have to be removed. This adapter plugs directly into the back of the rear view mirror.It works great so far. The dash cam comes on when I start my car, and shuts off when I turn the car off.
